At times there were situations in which I wanted to walk away because I was frustrated but they took the time to understand why I was frustrated and wanted to try to focus on my concerns and make me a happy customer. Everyone is human so I understand how there can be misunderstandings and confusion when trying to negotiate such an important purchase. Although the whole deal took upwards of 5 hours it was a pleasurable experience. If I had to buy another car I would most likely return. I highly recommend them. More

Awful Experience I visited Grossinger Chevy on a Saturday to check out a used car. We did some negotiation but were still a bit off on numbers in order to make a deal. I visited Grossinger Chevy on a Saturday to check out a used car. We did some negotiation but were still a bit off on numbers in order to make a deal. Another person from the dealership called me 3 days later and offered to split the difference. The original salesperson, Miguel, called back and confirmed he had spoken to their manager and approved the price. Miguel asked me how soon I could come in and I let him know I was available the following night. We set an appointment to finalize the paperwork. I drove 20 miles from work to meet the Miguel for my appointment. I was informed when I arrived he had the day off. Awesome. Come to find out they sold the car the night before after we had an agreed upon price and never even bothered to call me so I wouldn't waste a trip out there. No apologies and they wanted me to stick around to check out some other used cars. I will NEVER visit this dealership again. More

Don't buy at grossonger . The maintenance required light came on after 500mies. Which means the oil needs to be changed. I had to change one of the wiper bla at grossonger . I had to change one of the wiper blades this winter cause it was bad. while driving back home from picking it up I noticed a chip in the front windshield. That was under the price sign when I bought the car. It was too far for me to drive it back and to time consuming to do it another day. Will not ever buy another car from there. More

Don't buy from Grossinger. Last winter I purchased a 2013 Chevrolet Impala from Grossinger Chevrolet in Palatine and it might have been the worst experience of my life. Aside f Last winter I purchased a 2013 Chevrolet Impala from Grossinger Chevrolet in Palatine and it might have been the worst experience of my life. Aside from the fact it took 3 visits to complete all necessary paperwork at an hour and a half drive away they got me the most horrible car loan information history. The salesman still didn't remember my name after 3 visits and made it fairly clear he was only concerned about the money he was making from the deal. On each of my visits I came prepared with an appointment time witch I was promptly on time for and I still ended up spending a ungodly amount of time at this dealership. I would never buy from any Grossinger owned dealership again in my life. These people are all crooks. Avoid at all costs. More
