False internet pricing and misinformation from car salesman I contacted the dealership about a vehicle advertised on the internet. I discussed the advertised price with the new car salesman who communicated a I contacted the dealership about a vehicle advertised on the internet. The salesman then told me he would discuss with his sales manager and have him call me back to confirm the prices. The sales manager never called me back and I ended up making several calls and sending several text messages trying to get someone to respond. After 5 days, the new car sales manager responded with a price that was 35% higher than I was quoted by the salesman. I can only assume that Grossinger Chevrolet is posting bogus prices on the internet to try and get free advertising, by having their vehicle posted with a low price (even though they have no intention of honoring the internet price). I will also be filing a complaint with Chevrolet's corporate office. More

I also sent an email to confirm these items, the dealer told me that the price of the truck was correct and that they had 7 other inquiries on the vehicle. I told them I am an hour and a half away and I asked when the others were coming to look at the vehicle, the said if I left now I would be the first. So after confirming the price over the phone a second time, I went there, an hour and a half drive and test drove the vehicle. They then said that there was a problem with the price of the vehicle and said they could not sell it for the advertised price. (Even though I confirmed the price several times over the phone and email)...I said fine and asked the manager what they can sell the truck for, and the price they gave me was 14k over their advertised price...a 50% markup. cleary the deal was off, I left disappointed. I will never buy a vehicle from this family of dealers and neither should you. More

At times there were situations in which I wanted to walk away because I was frustrated but they took the time to understand why I was frustrated and wanted to try to focus on my concerns and make me a happy customer. Everyone is human so I understand how there can be misunderstandings and confusion when trying to negotiate such an important purchase. Although the whole deal took upwards of 5 hours it was a pleasurable experience. If I had to buy another car I would most likely return. I highly recommend them. More

Awful Experience I visited Grossinger Chevy on a Saturday to check out a used car. We did some negotiation but were still a bit off on numbers in order to make a deal. Another person from the dealership called me 3 days later and offered to split the difference. The original salesperson, Miguel, called back and confirmed he had spoken to their manager and approved the price. Miguel asked me how soon I could come in and I let him know I was available the following night. We set an appointment to finalize the paperwork. I drove 20 miles from work to meet the Miguel for my appointment. I was informed when I arrived he had the day off. Awesome. Come to find out they sold the car the night before after we had an agreed upon price and never even bothered to call me so I wouldn't waste a trip out there. No apologies and they wanted me to stick around to check out some other used cars. I will NEVER visit this dealership again. More

I had to change one of the wiper blades this winter cause it was bad. while driving back home from picking it up I noticed a chip in the front windshield. That was under the price sign when I bought the car. It was too far for me to drive it back and to time consuming to do it another day. Will not ever buy another car from there. More
