We didn't go back and forth and they didn't try to convince me of anything I wouldn't be happy with. They were willing to help and if they couldn't they would have let me walk right out. False internet pricing and misinformation from car salesman I contacted the dealership about a vehicle advertised on the internet. I discussed the advertised price with the new car salesman who communicated a I contacted the dealership about a vehicle advertised on the internet. I discussed the advertised price with the new car salesman who communicated a price to me for the new vehicle and a price for my trade-in. The salesman then told me he would discuss with his sales manager and have him call me back to confirm the prices. The sales manager never called me back and I ended up making several calls and sending several text messages trying to get someone to respond. After 5 days, the new car sales manager responded with a price that was 35% higher than I was quoted by the salesman. I can only assume that Grossinger Chevrolet is posting bogus prices on the internet to try and get free advertising, by having their vehicle posted with a low price (even though they have no intention of honoring the internet price). I will also be filing a complaint with Chevrolet's corporate office. More

I also sent an email to confirm these items, the dealer told me that the price of the truck was correct and that they had 7 other inquiries on the vehicle. I told them I am an hour and a half away and I asked when the others were coming to look at the vehicle, the said if I left now I would be the first. So after confirming the price over the phone a second time, I went there, an hour and a half drive and test drove the vehicle. They then said that there was a problem with the price of the vehicle and said they could not sell it for the advertised price. (Even though I confirmed the price several times over the phone and email)...I said fine and asked the manager what they can sell the truck for, and the price they gave me was 14k over their advertised price...a 50% markup. cleary the deal was off, I left disappointed. I will never buy a vehicle from this family of dealers and neither should you. More
