Set up appointment to see vehicle a week earlyer, got there vehicle not clean . Pushed to buy ( 2nd bad sign ) . Waited 2 days to be cleaned and checked out ! On way home after buying it , check engin there vehicle not clean . Pushed to buy ( 2nd bad sign ) . Waited 2 days to be cleaned and checked out ! On way home after buying it , check engine light on. Didn't want to have them look at it ( no trust in them at all !! ) . I've now put over $3000.00 in fixing a 2019 vehicle. Vehicle wasn't checked out at all , possibly oil change , not sure if they even did that. More

My husband and I found a car we had been searching for at this dealership. Our excitement turned into disappointment when we realized there were a few things that needed fixed. The dealership worked with us to put in contract that they would fix these issues if we purchased it. We felt ver confident that it would be ok so we signed the papers. They also stated they were able to get a certain interest rate and when signing papers “remembered” that our vehicle was one year outside the window of the lower rate. The person doing the paperwork had just told us how long he had been in the business. They gave us a rental and serviced the vehicle the next day. When my husband went to pick it up they had one issue resolved but the other one was not quite right. He took the rental and they sent the vehicle to another dealership to be fixed. The vehicle sat at the other dealership for a week before anyone called to tell us what was going on. My husband called the other dealership to get an update. Then he went out of town. Ottawa called and wanted to have me take ownership of our purchased vehicle before it was fixed. I declined telling them I was not in a position to jockey vehicles around and it still had not been fixed. After they agreed to drive the vehicle back to Findlay (they picked it up and drove it to Ottawa without any conversation with us.) to get fixed on May 1st. I asked to be updated with information. May 1st came and went with no phone call. May 2nd I called the Findlay dealership and asked for an update. They told me the vehicle had been fixed and was picked up earlier that day. I did not receive a phone call until around 8:00am May 3rd. When I retired the phone call and asked for the person in my message they bounced me around to a few people until they could give me an answer. They asked when I could pick it up and I again explined that I was not in a position to pick it us and asked them to bring it to my home. (Side note…I was in Ottawa on the 2nd in the afternoon and would have gladly picked it up but no one informed me the vehicle was ready.) o asked to have the vehicle delivered at 3:15 on the 3rd. I received a phone cal around 3:08 telling me the vehicle was ready to pick up. I told him they are supposed to deliver it. He said no one told him. We hung up. I record another phone call around 3:30 asking if I was around to have the vehicle delivered. The vehicle arrived around 3:50pm. Needless to say we knew what we were getting into with needing to wait for vehicle repairs. The lack of communication, the pushing me to take possession of a vehicle that was not fixed and the failure to update the progress when specifically asked was enough for me. We will not do business with this dealership again. I suggest you don’t either. More

Bought a Range Rover Sport Long Distance to have delivered. Service was good until after the sale. Then crickets! Paul will not return phones calls after delivery, which was a total mess. The day of delivery they were an hour and a half late and then they Would Not Deliver to our address. I had to walk to find my car a third of a mile past my house. Called them numerous times and they just kept saying they were in front of my house! NOT SO! This No Service cost us $500. Once the car was received the next issue was the dealership sent us the vehicle with a low battery. Because of this the info system could not be set up correctly and kept saying that the low battery could cause problems driving. We to tried to call Paul and never returned our calls. Even spoke with the Manger about the delivery issues said he would call us back Never Did. We have taken the Rover to our Certified Mechanic and awaiting what this will cost us. How does a dealership say the car was serviced and then we receive and have to replace the battery... we hope that is all. So much for Customer Service More
Bait and Switch. Called ahead, confirmed vehicle availability (on the lot, for sale, no deposit/not pre-sold). Emphasized I was making a 280 mile/5 hour round-trip. I do not see the exact salesperson listed below but the salesperson's first name is Zack who scheduled the appointment by phone and greeted me upon arrival at the dealership. I selected the manager instead because Dealer Rater requires at least one person be selected. Arrive (early) to watch a salesperson dart across the lot to drive away the vehicle I was scheduled to test drive. First I was told it was a test drive for another customer (no customer present) then the story shifted to there being a deposit on the vehicle. Furthermore, the dealership was deserted and the entire sales team was huddled in one office leaving me to 'wait' after copying my driver's license/insurance card and my signing a test drive waiver ... leading me to believe I was going to test drive the vehicle. Had I not interrupted them, after at least 10 minutes of waiting and seeing the car driven off by staff (and no customer), they probably would have left me there to stand stupidly waiting longer. I cannot believe it!! The vehicle was pre-sold; I have no doubt! I drove nearly 300 miles round-trip and they knew that. Never called me to stop me along the way! Unbelievable! Ironically, this is the second Chevrolet dealership to bait and switch on me within one week. I'm done! Chevrolet lost a potential buyer. Also - no way to complain to GM (except for sending a hard copy letter to a physical address or calling them directly (I am)). No Chevy or GM products for me! More
Bought a truck and when I went to do the transaction the truck was taken to their sister store to have a abs module repaired. Jerry the salesman asked if I could just drive it until I could get it scheduled and repaired local. I agreed since he assured me they would take care of the bill. I got it repaired and when I contacted them I dealt with Erin who said my we owe was only good for 30 days. I explained that they had the vehicle could not get it repaired and delivered it to me. It took me 4 months to get it in and then another month before I got it back and they refused to pay what they agreed. Very disappointed More
Purchased Used Silverado 2500HD Duramax I purchased a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD..My salesman was Mike Johnson,,excellent salesman and excellent dealership..I found this truck online af I purchased a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD..My salesman was Mike Johnson,,excellent salesman and excellent dealership..I found this truck online after two weeks of looking..Im located in Kentucky and Ottawa Ohio was a 4.5 hr trip one way..The price and condition of the truck along with the helpfulness of the whole staff made it worth the drive..We did the deal over the phone and the communication was excellent..When I arrived at the dealership paperwork was ready and the truck was cleaned and ready to go,,no surprises and no delays..If your buying local or long distance like me Ottawa Chevrolet is an excellent dealership to do business with..Thanks again to Mike Johnson and entire staff. More
