We were half way across Canada on our way to Alaska f The staff at Chevrolet Buick GMC of Fairbanks is awesome., one in particular, Ms Jeanie Mahlon. We were half way across Canada on our way to Alaska from Florida when our Kodiak chassis based motor home began losing power sporadically. A call to GM"s Nat"l mid-range truck division "help line" gave us a list of potential dealers along our route that MAY BE ABLE to help. One of those dealers did diagnose our situation but could not get parts for over a week. This led us to a number of dealers who could not get the parts until after we were scheduled to get all the way into Fairbanks. This led us to Jeanie at Lithia Auto Stores in Fairbanks and to the reason for this AAA One RATING. Even though Jeanie learned we had a unit too large to be handled by her individual dealership, she still found the parts that could arrive before we limped into Fairbanks and secured the last one available ( in Anchorage) and had it waiting when we arrived in Alaska. She even found a shop that could do our required work and discussed our situation with them. Thanks to Jeanie and the GM of Fairbanks dealership at 3300 S. Cushman St. we are back on the road on schedule and running well. When a team that knows they are not set up to do the work you need done still goes out of their way to help a potential once only customer, think how special they must treat their local clientele. Great Service as Usual I took my 2015 GMC Sierra Truck in for service on Monday July 17 and the experience was exceptionally good. From calling in to check about timing to I took my 2015 GMC Sierra Truck in for service on Monday July 17 and the experience was exceptionally good. From calling in to check about timing to come in, to the courtesy van home and the completion of the work on time. They also were able to complete a warranty items. Vicki and the Quick Lub crew are always friendly, professional and deliver what they promise. Mike who operated the courtesy van is always a pleasure to ride with and talk with.
