Over 2 grand and my car runs worst than when took it In. Worst experience I've ever had at a shop, I took my 09' Chevy Cobalt into the service department in Fairbanks because it was giving me a "Service Worst experience I've ever had at a shop, I took my 09' Chevy Cobalt into the service department in Fairbanks because it was giving me a "Service Traction Control, Traction Control Off" light on my dash and was running very rough. The very first thing the employee helping me, (I wont use names out of respect), told me was, "We're going to go ahead and charge you double the cost of diagnosis to ensure we dont play the part swap game". This was very curious because the first thing they changed was the Camshaft Position Sensor than proceeded to tell me it ran perfectly... Well as I was pulling onto the highway the light came back on and it began running rough again. I immediately turned around and gave my keys back to the shop and they assured me they would take care if it. Next, they changed my MAP Sensor, now this was curious because they told me again that it was running perfect. This time they tricked me, it ran perfect all they way until I got home, 10 miles away. I needed to go to work so I brought it in the next day. They took my keys back and said they would see what they could find. They told me that the next step was to replace the fuel filter, didnt work. NEXT, the service employee tells me that it will cost me 510 dollars to replace the fuel pump and that was my next step, I told him I dont have the money and he told me to "Try filling up the tank and adding a bottle of Heet and see if that clears it up". I expected much more from the dealership and to top it all off, I paid them to replace all 4 tires and not even one week later one of the tires deflated. Will cost me to put it back into the shop and get looked at. Does money grow on trees these days or something? If it does please show me where that tree is ;). More
Oil change and swap tires out for winter tires I arrived at the opening time for the service department. I was checked in by the quick service personnel for an oil change and tire swap out. Because there was a lot of vehicles being checked in it looked like I may not get my second vehicle in. When my first vehicle was close to being done I was told by service personnel that the rush had tapered off and I could get my second vehicle in. I called my to bring in the second vehicle. My first vehicle was ready when my second vehicle was being checked in. Iwas able to get both vehicles done the same day and in a very reasonable time. This dealership and service department is the best I have ever encountered. More
