I first visited Chesrown GMC service department about 2months after I purchased my 2009 Cadillac Escalade ESV from them for a low tire pressure issue. At this visit, the advised me that I had a bad valv 2months after I purchased my 2009 Cadillac Escalade ESV from them for a low tire pressure issue. At this visit, the advised me that I had a bad valve stem on one tire and a nail in my other tire which they said that they patched. Well, 2 days later I started getting low tire pressure signal again. I took my Escalade to Bob Summerall Tires and was shown where Chesrown GMC had put a " rope plug" on my tire. Chesrown also did not fix the other tire which needed a new bead seal! The next time I visited the service deparment at Chesrown GMC for a issue with the passenger sideview mirror...I was told that I needed a whole new sideview mirror. I advised them that I had an extended warranty on the Escalade and gave them the information to call the warranty company to get the approval for the repair. After not hearing from anyone at Chesrown, I called them to ask what was going on and was told that they called my warranty company did not cover my sideview mirror because it was an optional item because it folded, and they do not cover folding mirrors. I was upset and decided to call the warranty company to see what was going on and was told that they had not yet been contacted by the dealership or anyone for that matter! I really did not appreciate being lied to, as I knew that the mirror was covered! Well, finally after 2 weeks of the run around I finally got the mirror replaced HOWEVER it was not painted correctly and was mismatched to my Escalade! So, after I talked to Jay, the service department manager, he told me to bring it back and I would get a loaner car while the mirror issue was being fixed. Since my Escalade was in need of new wiper inserts and an oil change I asked them to take care of those things while they had it there. I picked up my Escalade 3 days later on a bright and sunny day! The next morning it was raining and as I left with my 2 children in the back seat to go to soccer games, I turned on my windshield wiper blades and low and behold they did NOT work! Hmmmmm, they were working perfectly fine before they changed the inserts!! I took my Escalade back to the service department, in the rain, with my 2 children and was told that the motor was burned out for the windshield wipers! I was furious when they said that it wasnt their fault and it was sheer coincidence! Please beleive me that I would not reccommend this dealership to anyone! Horrible Horrible Horrible! There is something wrong going on there at Chesrown GMC in Delaware Ohio! I am assuming that they must have their friends and family members writing all of the bogus rave reviews! More
We felt welcomed and accommodated even though it was very busy on the day we bought the car. Great friendly staff! The salesman I worked with Ryan R. he was awesome to work with,had an answer to all my questions. The finance guy there worked hard to get my financing approved at a lower rate than an he was awesome to work with,had an answer to all my questions. The finance guy there worked hard to get my financing approved at a lower rate than any other dealership quoted me. The service crew there also seems to be top in there field also. We were recommended to Tom Stephens, we told him about our credit issues and he sent us to Ed Sheldon. We told Ed what we had down and where we needed to be as far as payments, and he not only met our cri our credit issues and he sent us to Ed Sheldon. They were both great to work with and really went out of their way to help us. Even after the deal was done they were still offering help, and are always availible for questions. We are now, and will always be Chesrown of Delaware customers. HIGHLY RECCOMMENDED! More

Joe and the others at Chesrown were very good to work with. No pressure or pushy sales. Joe met us on the lot while browsing. When we arrived back at the dealership from our ttest drive, we were encourgad to drive others with differenet features. Even when we had interest in another vehicle type there was no resistnace. Again, Joe brought out several for us to drive. All in all the deal was more than easy to make with no haggle or long drawn out sales pitch. We also met the general manager Ryan who was very easy to talk with. We told him it was probably the friendlist car buying experince we ever had. We definetly will return, recommending Joe and Chesrown to others. Highly reommended by us. More
