Mike "Otis" Dunaway agreed to take a look at the vehicle and assure it's availability and give me a call back. In less than ten minutes, he called with a very detailed description of the the car we were looking at. We were about three hours from the dealership so I asked if he would discuss what the cost of the vehicle would be on the road. (Sales tax, titling fees, etc.). Mike did just that and the price fit our budget. We drove the three hours the next day and found the vehicle just as he described for the price we discussed. The experience was great and although we had secured financing with our credit union, the dealership was able to save us nearly 1% interest through one of their lenders. We had always bought cars from private owners UNTIL one day, four years ago, when we went to Chesrown to just look. That is when we met Tom Stephens. He was courteous and professional and trusting. He answered our questions and allowed us to take the car for a test drive (by ourselves). He was very truthful about pluses and minuses of the car. When it came to negotiating the price, he was reasonable and very professional. He is just the kind of guy you can trust. We bought the car and since then we have bought 3 more cars from him. Every time we have been pleased with our experience working with Tom and the cars have had no problems. We have taken friends there and they have become regular customers of Tom. Tom changed our perception of dealers. Now whenever we or friends want to buy cars, we automatically go/refer them to Tom. Today we just bought our 4th car, Honda Odyssey, from Tom. Not a good surprise as we chose this to pay off the loan quicker only to find out we are getting hit w/these extra chrgs This a small negative, but it would've been nice to have gotten a tank of gas put in the truck as a small thank you as we purchased truck for over 28K - it had less than 1/8th of tank More
