Fall 2020 ordered unit - told us 8-10 months. 2 months later they called said it was in. Was unit from show that we specifically said we didn't want. 3 months later we asked if our deposit could 2 months later they called said it was in. Spend hours going through units. Picked out $160k new unit. 3 weeks later arrive with cashiers check in hand, start our 3 hour review of unit. Hood is opened - RODENT DAMAGE and a ton of it. Whole firewall insulation chewed up. NOT small bites either. They agree to let us transfer deposit again to another unit. Find nothing. They call several months later new units on lot. We go pick out unit. No more deals on units since they are in high demand - find one for less money - new. $130k - Faulty slide - won't close all the way. Sit with finance anyway, never finish the paperwork - the guy is rude, overbearing, chauvinistic. Tells us it's ok to sign contract even if we don't agree with it all. Of course we don't sign. Say we have to talk about it. About 18 hours later we email to cancel the deal. 2 days later they run our credit card for the deposit $5,000 and our credit. Received 1 phone call from Ed Milani (different finance guy) the day after the credit card charge run to find out why we are canceling. He says he can't approve refund. Will have to talk to his bosses. That was June 2022. It's now 10/21/22, we have emailed multiple times and no response. We have emailed Tom Alexander sales manager of Gambrills office, Kenny Main our sales person at Gambrills and Ed Milani at Gambrills. Most unprofessional lack of response. Rude. Tried to sell us 2 severely damaged units, runs our credit card and credit AFTER we cancel the deal and keeps our money. No different then getting mugged, robbed on the street or our house broken into. Thieves. More
Do not go to this dealership in PA! ! We ordered a 2022 Rockwood last year in September, paid top dollar and knew it would probably be 6 months to receive it. It came in March 2022. Wa ! Walk through was basically us telling the service man how everything worked. Within a week there was a leak in the shower. We taped spot to stop water and called Chesaco. They advised us service was very backed up and they could see us in June! Told them it was a leak and we were worried about water damage as the water ran behind the liner. Sent them pictures. They still could not see us. Attempted to call several repair shops in various states as we were traveling but no one wanted to perform warranty work. Made an appointment in May for August 23,2022. Called several weeks before appointment to be sure they could get to work on our trailer when we dropped it off. Sent an email with list of other warranties issues to be repaired. (Also spoke with Rockwood to assist). Took TT in on date and went over all issues (expressed shower liner was main issue all others were small items). Gave service manager list of issues and showed him shower issue. He promised to remove and replace liner and take pics to send me so I would be assured there was no water damage. It’s now October 10 and my shower issue has not been taken care of. I’ve been told: it’s not a leak but a broken screw ( we addressed this when brought trailer in and service mgr assured me the screw was not the problem), they are waiting on Rockwood to approve warranty work (spoke with Rockwood and they stated warranty was approved), we have not had the time to address your issue thoroughly. I have made countless calls to the service manager, the general manager and Rockwood. It’s sounds to me like the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing!! I’m tired of being in the middle. I want my TT with the issue fixed but I don’t know what else to do. I’m tired of hearing how busy these technicians are. Stop selling TT that you can’t keep running without spending months in the service department. I’ve also been told my trailer service goes behind newly bought trailers. I now have to wait for someone who just bought they’re TT!! Are you kidding me. Their ads about their follow through are outright lies as far as I’m concerned. I’ve made several calls and sent several emails and never received a response. What else can I do to get my TT work done? The last time i called I was told a bad rainstorm had passed through and now three of my windows had leaks! I had been through rainstorms and never had an issue?? I have yet to hear if that work has even been initiated. I would purchase a Rockwood in the future but never from Chesaco. More
Same service problem experienced by many other reviewers. The dealership is unresponsive. I will contact Jayco to express my concerns. I ask that you do the same with your Rv manufacturer. We bought a brand new Aspen Trail 1950bh trailer from these people in January 2021. Not only did it have a one-year warranty as a new trailer, we purchased from these people an additional 7 year warranty these people in January 2021. Not only did it have a one-year warranty as a new trailer, we purchased from these people an additional 7 year warranty... God help us. First of all, good luck getting the Service Department on the phone. Or getting them to call back. Or having the same manager still employed to speak to twice. With any new trailer, there are going to be some warranty issues. No problem. We lived with some inconveniences through the camping season. In July, I made an appointment to bring it in for warranty work in November. In November, they said they couldn't fit us in - I made the appointment FOUR MONTHS IN ADVANCE because I knew what a loose cannon the service department was and now they can't honor that appointment. Finally, they let us bring it in DAYS before the one-year warranty runs out - promising that as long as they submit the work in time, Aspen Trail will "work with them" on the dates. The work doesn't have to be done, just submitted. I'll believe that when I see it. Now, it's the end of March and THEY HAVE YET TO EVEN LOOK AT THE TRAILER OR SUBMIT ANY PAPERWORK TO THE MANUFACTURER. It's just been sitting on their property for two months. So is Aspen Trail going to work with them now? We were clear they had to get the work order in before the warranty deadline. They haven't done that. So, NOW, Spring Break is coming up in three weeks. We have to make a two-hour round trip drive - to pick up our trailer UN TOUCHED - to go camping in April - then take it back - at the rate they are going, will it be done by the next trip in June? I'll believe that when I see it. So we will have it the entire summer again, taking it back in winter of 2022 and at that point, we will be at TWO YEARS without them doing warranty work within the first year period. Do you think Aspen Trail is going to work with THAT? Of course not. Not to mention the hassle and inconvenience for us - hours of calling, making appointments, dropping off and picking up, work NEVER getting done...they keep saying "pandemic supply chain issues" - well it can't be a supply chain issue if you haven't ordered the parts! That's ridiculous. They've already run out the first warranty clock on us and at the rate they are going, they might just manage to run out the whole 7 years. Unfortunately, they are the ONLY warranty provider in the state of Maryland for this manufacturer. I would never purchase from them again - and as first time owners, I would counsel someone to check their warranty provider options before purchasing from here - or anywhere - I can't believe we are married to these people for the next 7 years. I may need an attorney before it is over. More

THEY took my 1000 cash because of their poor record keeping I got cheated of 1000. Iam not accusing them of theif just poor record keeping stay away from chesaco rv More
STAY FAR AWAY - Joppa is the repair shop for Gambrills - so STAY AWAY from them too!! Joppa Parts & Service Dept's are lousy!!! We bought a new RV from Gambrills and then was sent to Joppa for repairs (2- so STAY AWAY from them too!! Joppa Parts & Service Dept's are lousy!!! We bought a new RV from Gambrills and then was sent to Joppa for repairs (2-1/2 hours away) because Gambrills didn't do repairs. Wish we would have been told that at the time of purchase. I order a simple part in March 2021. They received the "wrong part" but it sat on their shelf for a month "without knowing" it had arrived, until I called in April to see why it was taking so long. How does a paid special order sit on a shelf for a month without the Parts Mgr knowing? They ordered the same wrong part from the Manufacturer in April, unbeknownst to me. I called again in June - same sob story - the Manufacturer sent the wrong part. I found the part on the internet in 15 minutes, while waiting on the phone with them, and gave them the part number, since I had already paid them in March. Their Site Manager gave his "word" I would receive the part the following week as it was overnighted to them. So much for his word! Two weeks later, guess what, I had to call just to find out it was sitting on the Parts Dept shelf, again, without the Parts Dept Mgr nor the Site Mgr knowing. The Site Manger said he would find out what was going on and call me back. Until, you guessed it, I had to call back, again. His cover, he was busy helping another customer instead of taking care of someone that was waiting for 3 months. I asked for a full refund. After being passed around and demanding a refund, the Parts Dept worker (not Parts Mgr, not Site Mgr) processed my refund. I order the part from the internet for less and it's supposed to be delivered in three days -- NOT THREE MONTHS! The Service Dept, under warranty, "fixed" our showerhead from falling off the wall and drawers from sliding out when made turns. The second visit, under warranty, they "fixed" them again. I had to fix the drawers myself, the third time, by just replacing the catch with a better catch - two years later still no problem. STAY FAR AWAY from Chesaco RV - Gambrills and Joppa!!! More
Stay as far away from this dealership as possible, if you buy from there you too will be posting a bad review. Watch out for the fee that they will demand before they look at your warranty issues. Mike the general manager a con artist. No respect for the customer what so ever. Buy somewhere else, you’ll be glad you did. More
