BAD SALES PRACTICES WOW, this is going to be a long BAD SALES PRACTICES WOW, this is going to be a long one ... lol First I called 856-663-1500 I got Nate the Great. When I spoke with him I told BAD SALES PRACTICES WOW, this is going to be a long one ... lol First I called 856-663-1500 I got Nate the Great. When I spoke with him I told him I saw that the Jeep dealership was on a list that was given out on the NEWS with Charles Foulke Jr. as the owner and I was calling regarding purchasing a Jeep and I am looking for old stock 2008 that I could save from 7 to 8 thousand dollars (cause I know it will be much cheaper). Nate says “yeah sure we can do that for you, when u get there ask for Tom or Jorden (General Managers)”. So I said “Ok great”, I told him I’ll be there tomorrow @ 1708 West Marlton Pike Cherry Hill, NJ. He knew I was traveling far and prolly gave heads up to the salesmen. When I arrived early afternoon, I asked for Tom/Jordon. Tom profiled me within the 1/2 hour wait time, they had a couple of guys say Hi to me , try to flirt with me and make me feel special before Tom came to me and introduced me to Rob. He said he will take care of me and to show me what they have on stock. Rob then showed me some Jeeps and one of them was old stock 2008 jeep Sahara. I figured this would be in my budget and this is what Nate told me that was available. I was wondering why the window sticker that states the MSRP and BASE price was not anywhere in sight, yet I wanted to test drive it. So Rob then took me on a test drive as I was driving back he says pass the dealership and go onto the left side and jump on the highway. I then felt uncomfortable because I was unfamiliar with the area and I was alone with a strange man in a car for a long time. We ended up driving the vehicle for 35-40 minutes and I asked him why we jumped on the highway and he said for me to feel it out. I told him I wanted to go back, when we arrived to the dealers parking lot we parked the jeep and he suggested for me to remove the top of the jeep. I was already uncomfortable at that point and wanted to continue to close the deal. So we head inside and he shows me to a small table with chairs, as I sat down I felt like I was in one of those timeshares in Florida. Well now I wanted a price and Rob was stalling me, asking me for my driver’s license and scanning it into the computer. I asked him "why you’re scanning my driver’s license?”He said it was procedure so he can draw up his paper work. I still do not know what that machine is for? The computer was a xxx system LCD and what looked like a finger print scan plate. As I returned to the table to wait for him to return, I heard laughter coming from the office (about 8 salesmen were laughing) where Rob was talking with Tom for my quote. When Rob returned he caught me asking another salesman what the machine was for. Rob then says to me "what you don’t believe me” I said "No" because when you went back to the office you and the salesmen were laughing, he didn’t respond. Well now he showed me the first offer it was $23,XXX and he showed me the MSRP which was $28,XXX. I told him I was guaranteed $7,000 to $8,000 off of old stock that’s why I’m here. And then I told him $21, XXX with soft top and NAV. He thought about it then he said X_______________ <~~ sign here and give me the deposit. I said ok I signed and cut a check for $10,000. I figured OK this is it. I got a fair deal :-) .... WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!WRONG!!!!!! WRONG!!!!!!!! Rob came back and sat next to me, and John sat across from me. I was told that Rob's deal with me wasn’t accurate and that it will be more especially with the add ons, then I said OK $22,XXX is FINAL. John smiled and walked away. Then Tom came over and tried convincing me that the real price of the Jeep would be $25,XXX (he showed me invoice, the Colored DOT incentives. He didn’t realize I did my homework already :-). The invoice is always marked up by the manufacturer by 2 to 3 % (that’s one of the holdbacks for the dealers). Then depending on the date of the invoice you may receive up to $2,000 - $3,000 off more. Jeep also gives you $1,000 cash to play with at the door, and since I was a previous Jeep owner I get $2,500 discount ... ETC and so on. I told Tom "No" I can’t afford that price. I told him I wanted to leave and want my check back. Tom then asked me “You going to continue shopping around?” I said "YES" (BIG MISTAKE!!) once he knew that, they kept stalling me. Well to end this story short, they came out chasing after me 3 times and calling me back in and the final deal I received was 25,XXX with the soft top included (I rolled my eyes and left) .I couldn’t believe they only took off $2,XXX from the 2008 Jeep Sahara they had on the LOT for a year, which they have to pay $$$ every month to sit on the LOT. As I was driving to the next dealer, I realized they close at 5pm. Tom had them stall me so I wouldn’t give my business to anyone else if I wasn’t going to give it to him. They never intended to sell me that jeep for the price or ball park I inquired for. I felt man handled, used and pissed off. More

He said he would have to go and check how the deal was made. After a few calls back and forth he calls me back and says $26,000 for everything. :o .. I knew right there they didn’t want to sell me the jeep at all. Since that incident I have received several phone calls from the dealership saying "Hi”,"How you Doing" “call me back “I told them to leave me alone and to stop harassing me. I felt that this was becoming comical to them. I became so irate that I called the HEAD OFFICE several times to reach / speak to Charles Foulke Sr. / Jr. Jane (Charles Foulke Sr.secretary) gave my number to everyone but the person she works for. I received a call back from Jane telling me that Charles Foulke Sr. was driving on the cell phone and unable to call me and that I should speak to her about my situation. I stated to her that I knew she was being coached and that she works for Charles Foulke and she should give him the message to call me back, because I want to complain about the employees that he has working for him. I then called several times to try to reach Charles Foulke Sr. but everyone hides/covers and won’t let me speak to him. At a desperate attempt I left a message on Pat (office manager#) to please relay this message to Mr.Charles Foulke . The next phone call I received was Laura Ricollo (Charles Foulke Lawyer) 856-914-2084 telling me that I had a problem and should speak to her regarding Cherry Hill. I told her “I want to speak to Mr.Foulke directly and inform him how his employees treat his customers" and if no one can let him know. I will find another way to reach him. BTW- I saved every phone call with these people The employees that work for Charles Foulke are very greedy and they don’t care if the vehicle leaves the lot! Signed a very unhappy potential customer More
My salesman Fred, who I believe was a manager, was incredibly nice and helpful, however the other manager there was TERRIBLE! Berated other employees in front of customers, talked about customers beh incredibly nice and helpful, however the other manager there was TERRIBLE! Berated other employees in front of customers, talked about customers behind their backs, and actually showed someone a consumers credit information and said it was a "joke". Seriously, check the BBB before you waste your time going to this dealership! More

Here is my third posting on this dealership. I hope all the readers realize how upset I am with this place. I will keep everyone up to date on my lawsuit. Remember...THIS DEALERSHIP IS SUING ME for putting the readers realize how upset I am with this place. I will keep everyone up to date on my lawsuit. Remember...THIS DEALERSHIP IS SUING ME for putting signs on my vehicle. Anyway...below is an article that appeared in the Philadelphia Iquirer. Amazing.... tons of customers are suing the dealership and the DEALERSHIP IS SUING ITS CUSTOMERS! Do you want to do business here. Something is wrong. Read the article below N.J. says car dealer cheated customers; The Cherry Hill Triplex chain denied the allegation, saying "complaints are inevitable" given its business volume. BYLINE: Troy Graham, Inquirer Staff Writer The Cherry Hill Triplex auto dealerships have famously advertised $8,000 guaranteed for trade-ins and no credit checks for customers. The state Attorney General's Office said those offers were too good to be true. The office and the state Division of Consumer Affairs on Monday sued Foulke Management Corp., owned by Charles W. Foulke Jr., for violating consumer regulations at the dealerships. Foulke does business as Cherry Hill Triplex, one of the region's most visible names in car sales. It operates Cherry Hill Dodge, Cherry Hill Jeep Eagle, Cherry Hill Kia, Cherry Hill Mitsubishi, and Mount Ephraim Chrysler/Dodge. The complaint, filed in state Superior Court in Camden, accuses the dealerships of "unconscionable consumer practices" such as failing to honor the $8,000 trade-in offer, failing to honor an advertised sale price, and not disclosing previous damage to a car. Division of Consumer Affairs officials said they had received more than 100 complaints from Triplex customers in the last two years. Foulke attorney Carmen Saginario said he believed the complaints spanned a "significantly longer period." Given the volume of Cherry Hill Triplex's business, he said, "mistakes and complaints are inevitable." "They've done everything they can to rectify any mistakes or address any complaints," he said. Saginario said Foulke "denied the allegations in the complaint." He said he could not offer a more specific defense. "They are very proud of the services and products provided to the consumers in South Jersey for many, many years," he said. "They are a staple in the South Jersey automobile industry." In a statement, Attorney General Zulima Farber said Cherry Hill Triplex conducted "a typical bait-and-switch operation." "We will not tolerate such deceptive practices," she said. In 2001, authorities said, Foulke agreed to pay a $40,000 fine and operate lawfully after the Division of Consumer Affairs began investigating other violations. "These car dealerships promised to take the high road in dealing with customers, but the volume of complaints we've received tell another story," division director Kimberly Ricketts said. Foulke could face $20,000 in penalties for each violation. More
Hello everyone, I made a posting about this dealership Hello everyone, I made a posting about this dealership not honoring my warranty back in 2004. My name was chtriplexsuk. Here's an update for those Hello everyone, I made a posting about this dealership not honoring my warranty back in 2004. My name was chtriplexsuk. Here's an update for those of you considering giving Cherry Hill Triplex your business. The dealership is SUING ME because I purchased metallic signs that said "cherryhilldodgesucks@yahoo.com" and "caution: don't buy Chrysler or Cherry Hill Dodge" and placed them on my vehicle! They are suing me for tortious interference in a business! I assume they want to pursue damages for any loss of business from the signs and enjoin me from being able to put the signs on my vehicles. What ever happened to my 1st Amendment Right to free speech???? I am not an attorney but am representing MYSELF against a rather large law firm the dealership has retained, Capehart and Scatchard. This case that is due to go in front of a jury in April of this year. They offered me a settlement that was basically a "gag order" in which I would agree not to say ANYTHING negative about the business. I did NOT sign this and am fighting for my right to speak out as a disgruntled consumer. I am fighting for you...for us....the stepped-on, poorly treated customer! Do you want to patronize a company that will sue a customer because he publically displayed his unhappiness with the dealership? I caution everyone to think not twice..but three times before walking into that dealerhip! One day while I was in court, there was another case in the court between Cherry Hill Triplex and a group of people suing this dealership for their advertising. In addition, I was contacted by another women who filed a complaint with the NJ Attorney General and said she has an arbitration hearing next week. What does this say about a business? Read all the complaints on complaints.com about this dealership. There are over 30 printable pages! I entertain any comments or feelings about this posting! More
stay as far away as possible. If anyone shakes your hand there, count your fingers. I took delivery without signing any bank contracts. I asked at the time to see my payments in writing, and they made some there, count your fingers. I took delivery without signing any bank contracts. I asked at the time to see my payments in writing, and they made some sort of remark, like" you'll see them in a few days', don't worry the bank will tell you" I went back to sign and my payments went up 107 dollars a month. 107!!! I demanded to see the owner, and he couldn't care less. I would recommend you send anyone you hate there More
I am in the market for a new/used truck or suv. I was driving by between jobs and saw they had a used nissan frontier which is a truck i have been looking for. i stopped and took the time out to check i driving by between jobs and saw they had a used nissan frontier which is a truck i have been looking for. i stopped and took the time out to check it out on the lot. I went in to get a price to see if it was in my price range. I was handed over twice from what appeared to be a manager to sales manager to salesman. i told him i wanted a price on the truck. he said have a seat and I will get stock number and get a price. I was getting to leave 10 minutes later (dont ask why i waited, i like the truck i guess) and i see he pulled the truck and said i had to go for a test drive while his manager worked on some numbers. I didnt have time at that point since i was between jobs and just asked for price. He could not and would not give it to me. See Ya. Horrible buying experience!!!! i later found out the price online and if i was told the price i would have been extremely interested but now i cannot see myself going back there after that last ordeal. Good luck with your sales!!!! More
Filed this morning at small claims, they sold me a used truck with a lien on the title.<br>They did not send the paperwork to clear the title until 15 days after I picked up the truck so my temp tag expire truck with a lien on the title.<br>They did not send the paperwork to clear the title until 15 days after I picked up the truck so my temp tag expired and I was without a vehicle for 5 days because " It's not our policy" to provide a loaner until paperwork is legal, got the state DMV on their butt and it became their policy.<br>Tail pipe kept falling off, oil and coolant was low, in dire need of a tuneup, front brakes failed after 4 weeks, would have them fix brakes but they wanted $89 to look at it and I would not have to pay if they determined it was a warrenty repair (yeah, right, whatever it is it ain't under warrenty) it would cost upwards of $100 to have vehicle towed to dealership and they don't compensate for towing even for warrenty repairs, know why? because "it's not our policy". Did the repairs myself for $53 and found in addition to a bad brake caliper it had the wrong mounting bolts for the caliper, creating a very dangerous situation.<br>When I bought the truck their fianance manager was using it for his transportation so you can't tell me he didn't notice problems with it.
