I recently had a disappointing experience with the service department at Cherry Hill Dodge Chrysler Jeep. I brought my 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara in for issues, and the whole process was frustrating. First, the communication was lacking. I was not kept informed about the status of my vehicle, and I had to follow up multiple times for updates. When I finally received an assessment, I was shocked to learn that my transmission needed to be replaced, especially since I had no warning lights and only 36k miles at the time of my visit. To make matters worse, I found out that my powertrain warranty had expired just a week before my appointment. While I understand policies, I felt there was little effort made to assist me in exploring goodwill options despite my loyalty as a customer. Overall, my experience left me feeling undervalued and frustrated. I had high expectations based on my previous visits, but this time it fell short. I hope they can improve their communication and customer service in the future. More
Whatever you do stay Far away from this dealership Earlier this week I had the most disturbing experience at the business . I know car dealerships are struggling right now, but aggressive sales tactic Earlier this week I had the most disturbing experience at the business . I know car dealerships are struggling right now, but aggressive sales tactics, holding potential customers hostage and placing threatening phone calls is not the answer. I went to the dealership on Saturday, September 12 to look at a jeep that was promoted online. My experience from there was not only disturbing, but it was also borderline criminal. Here’s what unfolded Of course, the jeep that was promoted online wasn’t available for me to view when I arrived, so the salesman pushed two other options on me. Neither of which were nearly as nice as the one promoted. I was then told that the promoted SUV was being used by the manager, so it was off the lot. But they could bring it there shortly. I had to wait over an hour for the manager to bring the jeep to the dealership, so I could test drive it. This seems like an odd practice to let the manager drive around in a car that’s being promoted for customers. But I was ultimately able to check it out. I then decided to engage in a discussion regarding cost of the jeep and value of my trade-in. They asked for my keys so they could assess my vehicle. They returned and told me the used SUV would be $600 per month and my jeep was only worth $2,500 in trade-in value. I told them I wasn’t interested and asked for my keys back to leave. They refused to give me my keys and started negotiating --- asking me what I wanted the deal to look like. They kept upping the number they’d give me for my jeep and somehow were promising to get the monthly payment for the new jeep down to $400. The math wasn’t adding up and the dramatic change in monthly payments made me feel like I was being scammed. So I, again, asked for my keys back. They refused. They then sent out the manager to talk to me. He approached me and said, “Are you Greek?” which he must have discerned from my name. I confirmed and he said, “my apologies” --- clearly mocking my heritage. I wasn’t in a laughing mood at this point, especially for such childish, discriminatory jokes. He went on to tell me he was Palestinian, as if that made his joke unoffensive. It’s clear these guys don’t receive any training on appropriate workplace communication in 2024. I was very tired and frustrated at this point and again asked for my keys, but the manager kept talking and refused to give me my keys. At this point, I was being falsely imprisoned in the office. I had salesmen aggressively coming at me and refusing to allow me to leave. I had to assertively demand my keys more than 10 times and commit to coming back before they would let me leave. Needless to say, I had no intention of returning after this treatment. I said what I had to say to escape. So, when I didn’t show up on Friday the dealership started blowing up my cell phone. The manager berated me on the phone telling me that they waited for me and made special accommodations to be there for my return. I stopped picking up their calls at this point, but they kept calling. At one point, my friend saw the volume of calls and grabbed my phone and said you’ve reached “xxxx pizza place.” Just to highlight the absurdity of what was happening. After that, the GM of the dealership called back and angrily placed an order for pizza on my voicemail. He concluded by saying, he was going to send “Vinnie” to pick up the pizzas at [and spelled out my address on the message]. To me, this was a pretty clear threat to say, I have your address and will not leave you alone. I have the voicemail saved for back-up, as this whole experience left me unnerved. I’ve never experienced such unprofessionalism in my life. But this crossed beyond that. Between the discriminatory jokes, keeping me imprisoned in an office without my keys to leave and placing veiled threats on my voicemail. It’s very clear this isn’t a regulated car dealership --- it’s a criminal enterprise being run by xxxxx. More

I had to pay to get my Jeep Grand Cherokee as I am a Realtor and had scheduled appointments I could not miss. I hope they enjoy the $212 because when it comes time to buy another $50,000 vehicle I sure as heck won’t be taking my business to Cherry Hill Jeep. More

Just left the dealership about one hour ago on March 25th, 2024. Called last week and set up an appointment due to the dealership and the FCA sending me a notification to fix my fuel pump relay. The l 25th, 2024. Called last week and set up an appointment due to the dealership and the FCA sending me a notification to fix my fuel pump relay. The letter was specific that the process would take one hour. As anyone knows, that means at least 2 to 3 hours if you are lucky. So when I talked to the dealership the woman that answered was nice and said I could expect 2 hours. So I scheduled the appointment for 8am this morning when they opened. The replacement is probably not a money maker and I figured paying customers get first in line at the repair shop. So I walked to a nearby shopping area and spent over 4 hours keeping busy. I walk back to see if any progress had been made and my car is still sitting in the same place. The parking is horrendous there anyway. So I go in to talk to the manager and he starts blaming me for not letting them know I was waiting for the car??? Then he says they don’t even get to these cars till the end of the day?? So I ask him, why schedule my appointment for 8am instead of say 3pm so I don’t have this reasonable expectation of 8 hours??? He cuts me off and again continues to blame me for their terrible service??? I went to this website and saw all the terrible reviews about service that I realized I was completely wasting my time. I went back in and said can I please have my keys back as I am going somewhere else and he had already given my keys to the cashier so they had no intention of working on the car. Do not ever buy or take your car here for service!!! They don’t care about customers and the service department is completely inept. The way the so called Manager treated me says everything you need to know! Avoid this place. They are not trying to improve. They are simply unprofessional and incompetent at servicing customers. They will send a response that says sorry you had a bad experience and to contact us so we can make it right. They have no intention of making it right. More
Many dealers devote capital to provide their customers with a pleasant and efficient service experience. This is not one of them! Just getting in and out of the lot is adventure. Cars are packed together with a pleasant and efficient service experience. This is not one of them! Just getting in and out of the lot is adventure. Cars are packed together like sardines. There is only one, single lane means for access and egress to the service area. Once you manage to get in it’s very difficult to get out. If you follow your instincts you drive to the rear of the building assuming there is a rear exit. Wrong! The rear lot is filled with tightly packed older vehicles which seem to be long term storage, resembling a junk yard. All lanes are a dead end with no room to turn around so you have to back out. Apparently, the staff order their dinner for delivery. This evening the exit lane was locked by two unattended delivery vehicles. Customers were trapped in the lot. Service staff was unsympathetic. Took me a half hour just to get out of the place. The place has been a mess for years and this is not related to the construction on Route 70. I have to assume ownership doesn’t care.
