Circumstances dictated the need for a new (at least to me) vehicle.A very good friend had purchased a new vehicle from Checkered Flag and had nothing but good things to say about the experience.I have ne me) vehicle.A very good friend had purchased a new vehicle from Checkered Flag and had nothing but good things to say about the experience.I have never been disappointed by Volkswagen,and had heard great things about the Jetta TDI.My friend and I were met by Mr.Lamont Williams as we perused the lot.He introduced himself,asked what I might be looking for,and pointed me towards the vehicle(s)I expressed an interest in.He advised me to let him know should I wish a test ride in any of the vehicles.No pressure,no pushing-very refreshing.Mr. Williams answered all my questions about the various vehicles I inquired about,and demonstrated his knowledge of the products admirably-no hemming and hawing.I could go on;suffice it to say I purchased a new 2011 Jetta TDI that day.The courtesy and professionalism exhibited by Mr.Lamont Williams,as well as the other team members who helped arrange the financial particulars,exemplify the service one can expect at Checkered Flag Volkswagen.They surely made the purchase of a vehicle a pleasant experience,and I would recommend them highly to anyone. I had been without a car since April,2011. I was either walking everywhere, renting a vehicle or borrowing my brother 1992 5 speed pickup truck. Anyway, I drove up to the dealership in that raggedy truck - which leans to one side and the sales personnel, especially Derek Melaney did not make me feel bad or feel that I might be wasting his/their time. They were friendly and courteous -- I was treated with RESPECT and that says it all. Derek listened to me and was very informative about the vehicles he showed me and indicated Checkered Flag could help me obtain a vehicle within my price range and he and the Sales Manager did. There was no pressure to buy;I am now a proud owner of a 2011 VW Jetta, SE. The experience at Checkered Flag was a positive experience. I have recommended this dealership and Derek Melaney to several other people. More

We just showed up to take a "look" and jason did not pressure us at all, after taking the test drive i was hooked. the customer service was outstanding, not a single person was rude.
