Aran Benjamin was great to work with because he did not do the hard sell approach. It was a hectic day when the dealership was under manned, computer system went down, and many customers showed up. My wife and I were searching for a new vehicle, with our list of places to stop at and vehicles to look at. Checkered Flag Hyundai was our second stop for the day. We noticed the advertised price, for the type of vehicle we were interested in, was right on the money. When we arrived at the dealership a very friendly and polite salesman asked if he could help us look at anything. We asked to see a couple of vehicles including one of the vehicles that was advertised in the front of the lot. We were soon on our way for a test drive and loving every minute of it. We were both very impressed at the vehicle and very please at the knowledge of the salesman. He explained every thing about the vehicle, the dealership, Hyundai, and the process necessary to purchase the vehicle. We were so pleased that we got right down to the business of actually purchasing the vehicle. Within a few minutes we had all of the necessary paperwork done and we were on our way to being owners of a new vehicle, the first one in almost eleven years. I had been shopping for a new vehicle for over 6 months. I visited all of the major dealerships in town (Lexus, BMW, Acura, Infiniti, Volvo etc). I was on te verge of buying a Lexus product at Charles Barke I visited all of the major dealerships in town (Lexus, BMW, Acura, Infiniti, Volvo etc). I was on te verge of buying a Lexus product at Charles Barker when I decided to see Checkered Flag Volkswagen. My first encounter was with James on a Sunday. He was professional, courteous and aggressive in showing me several vehicles. More importantly, he listened to my needs and sensed my frustration in the shopping process. He took all of my information and followed up the next day. I could not find the color of vehicle I wanted, but James was diligently looking. Southern Volkswagen stated they had the exact car I was looking for and told me they would match the price and USAA program. I drove down to Southern and it was a "bait and switch" and turned out to be the worst dealership experience I have encountered in my life. My wife and I drove right to Checkered Flag (James was off) and met with the GM and James selling partner (John?). They gave us unbelievable service, a fair price, great financing and we purchased the CC vehicle that evening.
