Customer Service: My wife and I were seconds from leaving the dealership very disappointed due to an inexperienced salesman working with us from the beginning. Mr. Scott Stencel picked up on this and quickly filled in to assume control of the potential sale. He went out of his way to get us the car we wanted and discussed several options with us until we were completely satisfied. Quality of work: The car's quality is great so far. The real test is time. But for now, we're more than pleased. Mr. Stencel ensured we received a clean car and ready for delivery (covered in Pollen the day prior). It looked, smelled and felt like a brand new car as is should have. Friendliness: Top notch. This was my selling point. We had great conversation and by the time I left, I felt like I Mr. Stencel and I had been friends for years. He took us around and introduced us to most of team at the dealership. Who does that? We went in to Checkered Flag VW late one evening going through the process of buying my wife a new car. We were greated at the door by Lamont Williams. Lamont took the time to show us bith vehicles and through the process of buying my wife a new car. We were greated at the door by Lamont Williams. Leaving the dealer we were torn between the Passat and the Jetta and gave it a night to consider the pros and cons of each. By the next day my wife had decided on the Jetta. We returned to the dealer ready for a test drive. A little leary of the low power rating of the 2.0 but still hooked on the price of the base model Jetta we took one for a drive. My wife will not drive a manual transmission so automatic was requisite. The test drive was an underwhelming experience to say the least. Lamont was already prepared for our reaction and was ready to show us a low mileage certified pre-owned Jetta SE 2.5 with many more options. We were not prepared to get a used car, however it was the color and had the options my wife wanted. So, we took the SE for a test drive. We were very surprised. The power difference is night and day, significantly more comfort and a smoother ride. After returning to the dealer still not entirely sold, Lamont explained the certifiaction process and additional warranty the car carries. After a little discussion he recommended we take the car overnight to ensure that it would work for our family of four during day to day activities. We did just that. We returned the next day sure this car would not only work for our family, but was everything my wife was looking for. The negotiation process was not at all painful though it was productive. Checkered flag was very upfront and honest through the process and did not try to change anything previously agreed upon on the final paperwork. End result was a very pleasant car buying process. We paid a very fair price for a great vehicle. We even have a better warranty than if we bought a brand new car. I highly recommend Checkered Flag VW, Mr. Lamont Williams and the whole Checkered Flag VW team to anyone in the market for a new car. You will not leave unhappy. I do not normally take the time to write lengthy reviews, however my experience with Checkered Flag VW and Mr. Lamont Williams justifies the additional time. More

I entered the dealership after months of shopping around on the web and in person. It was 15 minutes before closing and Lamont Williams quickly greeted myself as my fiancè waited, with a head ache, in our 2 on the web and in person. I briefly explained to Lamont that I was looking for a good value for my limited budget and available credit. He swiftly transitioned to a new 2012 jette and assurred me that the finance team could make the deal happen for us. My fiancè and I were intoduced to the finance managers, who gathered our information and reccomended taking the jetta for the night and work. The next day, not only was all the paperwork prepared, but our interest rate was cut by almost half. I was in and out completly pleased and even saved time at the BMV for Checkered Flag VW provided my plates also. We could not reccomend this team highly enough! More
