Like most people I was dreading looking for a new car. In the past it consisted of a very long day of haggling and hours wasted in the dealership only to come out exhausted and questioning my purchase. I was greeted like an old friend. Jim Hanrahan was an informative and enthusiastic representative of the VW brand. I was able to test drive a Passat and during the test drive was given all the information about the car. I was never pressured and returned a few days later with my husband to check out the Passat and the CC. Again, Jim was a trusted guide and let us explore our options. Jim offered us several options and gave us the time to make a decision that was best for our family with no pressure. He even made sure I was able to be a "girl" and found my favorite color! When our car was delivered to Checkered Flag VW Jim called and let us know it was ready. All the paperwork was ready and waiting. My beautiful new Passat was clean, had new tags and a full tank of gas. Jim went over the basic information about my new car and even set up my blue tooth. I was in the market for a Wagon and decided to stop by Checkered Flag VW to see what they had. He asked all the right question and listened to my answers. Joel is a seasoned veteran that was able to put me on the right vehicle immediately. His knowledge of VW is terrific. Joel did a terrific walk around of the vehicle pointing out some features that I was really interested in on the outside and then the interior. Once we were inside the vehicle Joel offered us a test drive to see if we liked how the car handled. Once we got back from the test drive, Joel touch on all the features that we liked and asked if we had any more questions or concerns. Joel asked what my time frame for purchase was and I replied "soon". He was never pushy and wanted to make sure I was comfortable with the process of making a vehicle purchase. We exchanged information that day and I said I would get back with him. Joel followed up with me the next afternoon to make sure he had done a good job answering all my questions and to thank me for spending time with him. He pointed me to the Checkered Flag VW website so I could fill out an application in the comfort of my own home. Then Ryan Montville called me to walk me through the application process. Ryan is an Internet manager that was very helpful in getting my information in the right hands to get the credit process started. Ryan and I emailed back and forth a couple times to make sure I was going to get a fair price on the vehicle they had for me. Ryan was never pushy and always helpful with very quick response times. I scheduled an apponintment with Joel to test drive the vehicle again and talk about VW insentives. Joel brought in his manager Matt Seyfert. Matt helped me to understand all the insentives VW had to offer. Matt was never pushy and wanted to make sure I was comfortable with all my options for financing. I decided that Checkered Flag VW was going to be a great place to do business with since the staff had been so helpful. I decided to purchase my Jetta Sportwagen from them because of Joel, Ryan and Matt. When I came in to finalize all the financing, Joel had the car looking fantastic. He made sure that I understood how to use all the bells and whistles, went over the owners manual and service schedule. I would definitley recomend Checkered Flag VW for you next vehicle purchase.
