Loved entire experience with salesman and manager and will recommend this brand and dealership... We did however find frustration with finance dept misrepresentation of trade-in payoff timing (told 1 wer will recommend this brand and dealership... We would have gone elsewhere for that had we been given realistic timing (actually several weeks). We are making a car payment on vehicle we no longer own to ensure good credit history. Most important she possesses a great deal of integrity-- which I have personally found in purchasing vehicles most do not have. They are just trying to make a sale. This is the second vehicle I have purchased with Barbara's assistance. Thom Coyle and Bryan Lane assisted in doing the final pricing-both very professsinal also. Got a fair price for my car as a trade in, then got a fair price on an alternate vehicle. Worked with Bob Rischitelli, Matt the sales manager, and Tina in finance. I purchased my first VW Jetta TDI back in December 2010 in Charleston, VA and everyone there was very helpful and friendly...great service; however, being in the military I move around quite a bit and even in Charleston, VA and everyone there was very helpful and friendly...great service; however, being in the military I move around quite a bit and eventually moved to Norfolk, VA. After being very satisfied with the people at the dealership in Charleston, I was worried I wouldn't find another VW dealership here that matched that quality. I found out about Checkered Flag via the internet and prior to trading in my 2010 TDI for a 2012, I had my car serviced there twice with positive experiences and noticed the friendly staff within the service department. I didn't get to meet the sales or finance people until February of 2012 when I received an offer to trade in and upgrade to a 2012/2013 VW. I decided to go in and check it out and see what they had to offer with a specific "Let's make a deal" number in my head. All I can say is that the people (Argo was my specific sales person) were friendly, helpful, personable, and patient. If you're looking for a VW dealership, I would highly recommend stopping by this specific one. More

Overall second good experience as previous golf bought there to but after purchase asked to get the chrome exhausts from previous golf which was refused ???!!! ....you can buy them at our shop ......this there to but after purchase asked to get the chrome exhausts from previous golf which was refused ???!!! ....you can buy them at our shop ......this is not what I call client-friendly. We got a better APR rate as we saw the previous salesman Dejan Jodanovic which we will keep in mind if we buy a second car. More
