He did not try to rush me into making any decision I would regret.I ended up back two days later and went with a higher end Passat. It has all the bells and whistles I needed. I love it. I'm impressed with each person that I had contact with at Checkered Flag Hyundai in Virginia Beach, VA. From the first phone greeting from Mitch on Tuesday afternoon to the opened door greeting and h with at Checkered Flag Hyundai in Virginia Beach, VA. From the first phone greeting from Mitch on Tuesday afternoon to the opened door greeting and hand shake with Aran on Wednesday and the hand shake with Tom, manager I think! Friendly conversation was briefly exchanged with Tom on Wednesday before he introduced me to Aran to be my personal sale person. Aran and I discussed what I was looking for in a car and we walked out on the lot to find the car ( by Vin number) that I had previously checked-out on my computer. Once located he suggested I sit in the car, as he did also, to explain the many wonderful features of the new car! Aran graciously explained and showed me every detail. Now, I'm 77 years old and never bought a car before. My husband always did this task and I went along to sign the papers!! He has now passed away and it's now my task - under the guidance of my 5 adult children. Once I felt comfortable about the car, Aran suggested I take a test drive - and we did. I immediately fell in love with the car. I'm moving from a 2003 Buick Lesabre, Limited. All things went well with the drive and all questions were answered. Into the show room and to Aran's desk, we talked finances. No pressure was ever put on me. I left feeling comfortable about my "learning situation" and planned to return the next day! Thursday I was back, by appointment, and friendly greeted by Aran. He gave me his undivided attention in discussing details and financing which lead to meeting Randall, finance person, and the signing of all necessary papers. Friday afternoon I returned and was warmly greeted by Aran and all the associates in the show room. Congratulations were expressed to me from all directions. Aran walked me to the Service Department and I met Amanda, my service person. Nice looking waiting room, coffee area and gift store! Again Aran kindly explained every detail of operating the car, BlueLink and warranty. Aran had previous signed me up with his computer for MyHyundai website as well as the BlueLink. Before I drove off of the lot, Aran set the automatic door locks for me. All my needs were met in a very profession and friendly manner. Aran is an asset to the business. He is very kind and was continuous asking if I needed a beverage, snack,etc. He is quite proud of the rewly renovated showroom as her toured me through the building. I was impressed with the Childrens' Cancer partnership that Checkered Flag has with KDCH. Thank you for the warm, nonpressured conversations and excellent "learning experience" for a first time buyer. Aran helped to make "all things pleasant" for me. More
