We were definitely surprised by the customer service provided from everyone we encountered at this dealership. Britt, Doug, and a few others helped us out and they were nothing short of amazing! My wife had trouble driving a manual car, so they went out of their way to give us a loaner vehicle so she could learn. They also allowed us to use an automatic on a few occasions as well. They made the process as easy as possible and they were very straight forward about it. No gimmicks, and everything was explained up front, before signing. They truly went above and beyond to help us. We will more than likely be repeat customers after this wonderful experience! More

Bad customer service! Beware!! Thought I was buying a new 2015 Jetta from these folks. During my 10,000 mile service, their own mechanic called and said my new car had a 2014 tailli Thought I was buying a new 2015 Jetta from these folks. During my 10,000 mile service, their own mechanic called and said my new car had a 2014 taillight on the passenger side. Hmmmm....red flag. After I received horrible customer service from Bryan Lane and Todd Collins, I decided to trade in the 2015 to Casey VW in Newport News. During that transaction, they discovered that I had signed up for an extra $2060 6 YEAR maintenance contract even though I would have never purchased that contract if it wasn't just added to the signing paper work.....luckily i got that money returned when i traded in the CF Jetta. Watch out for Ken Perry/Geoff Warder/Bryan Lane/Todd Collins! They are good to you during the purchase, but watch out if you bring up a reasonable concern on your supposedly new car they sell you. More

Hoping for improvement Went to Checkered Flag VW for a second car. This would be my 3rd car from a Checkered Flag dealership (1 car from BMW then after kids went to VW) No Went to Checkered Flag VW for a second car. This would be my 3rd car from a Checkered Flag dealership (1 car from BMW then after kids went to VW) Now let me preface this with the fact that I just got off the phone with the GM Todd Collins. My experience was straight out of a National Lampoon movie. Not even worth going into too much detail-the sum of it being pure aggravation at the fact that my car search extended to Maryland?! A misquote of a rebate (it didn't exist), a service plan change to the leasing program I wasn't made aware of until signing time (what was included in my 2013 lease now had to be purchased), and the fact I had to turn around halfway home and RESIGN paperwork because the price quoted by salesperson was WRONG. Mr. Collins assured me this was an isolated incident and the salesperson was not even employed with them any longer. Seems I got the "one guy" that shouldn't have sold me the car. Giving 3 stars because Brian and Aran went out of their way with their time in answering questions and clearing up some things. I want to turn in the 2013 in the next year so lets hope the next salesperson likes his job. Mr. Collins listened to my story and let me "get it out" and offered to personally suggest the next sales person. Hopeful for the experience from the 1st 2 cars when I return and that the last was just a bad dream! More

This was pointed out to the staff, and the unwanted services charges were dropped. Staff in the service department seemed overwhelmed. Upon leaving the dealership, noticed a reverberation in the intake/ exhaust system that I am working to resolve. I do not subscribe to conspiracy theories, so I will say it's simply a coincidence. One I will be exploring at a different shop. More

Not only did he respond in a timely manner, but he found my previously owned 2013 Jetta within a few hours. We met the same day, and they delivered my car almost shiny and new. nothing like charging double for parts Had horrible experiences in the past but decided to give them a third chance. Came in to get a state inspection and was told my wiper blades were bad. The dealership wanted to charge twice what every other car parts place was. I looked up part numbers online and checked with the parts department and purchased a pair and brought them in. Amazingly enough they weren't the right blades. Will be driving over an hour away to Southern VW for all my future services. More
