I am terribly sorry, and very surprised, to hear that you had such an unpleasant experience here. I checked on the current stock of Jetta TDI models (going back to the day before you left this review), and there are currently none left in Virginia, so when you were told there was limited availability, it was the truth. In instances where inventory is very limited, we often sell the vehicles at MSRP. In regards to the “rude staff” comment, I am baffled and I want you to know that this is not the way we conduct business. In fact, one of the things we take the most pride in at Checkered Flag is our reputation. Our goal is to treat all guests like family and provide a pleasant sales environment. If we failed to do that, I apologize. This is not an excuse, but the only thing I can imagine that may have been out of the ordinary is the large volume of customers we have been experiencing due to the Cash for Clunkers program. The sales staff may have been overwhelmed and rushed, creating a less than perfect experience for you. Again, this is not typical, and I sincerely apologize.
