Called Sunday afternoon, spoke with Argo and asked if they had any Wolfsburg jetta's? He told me they had one and would get it ready for me if I wanted to take it for a test drive. When I got to the dealership the car was waiting for me. We took the car for a test drive and Argo was very helpfull with all my questions about the car and my car that I wanted to trade in. After the test drive we talked about my trade and worked out the numbers. It was close to closing time so Argo told me to take the Jetta home with me and come back monday and he would have all the paper work waiting for me so I did not have to spend allday at the dealership. Came back in monday around 3pm with my seven yearold son, Argo had all my paperwork waiting for me to sign. This was the least amount of time I have ever spent in a car dealership and it was great. I purchased my car from this dealership in 2006. My check engine light had been on for quite some time, so I decided to take it to the dealership to find out what was wrong with it. After they "diagno check engine light had been on for quite some time, so I decided to take it to the dealership to find out what was wrong with it. After they "diagnosed" my check engine light with $800 worth of repairs, I thought it over for a few weeks and decided to go ahead and get everything fixed so I wouldn't have any more worries. I dropped my car off and they called me about mid-day to tell me that there was another $600 worth of work wrong with my car and my check-engine light would stay on unless it was fixed. I am absolutely livid that this was overlooked. I ended up getting the initial $800 worth of repairs done. Apparently, their service technicians are negligent or possibly put my car in worse condition than it was before. I should mention that they blamed the additional $600 worth of repairs on an accident... which is funny because I have not been in an accident! I will never deal with them again or recommend them to any of my friends or family. When I went to pick my care up that afternoon, the gentleman that rang me up said he could not answer any questions for me and he would have the service manager call me the next day... she never did. I have read that everyone else on here had a great experience with the sales department. I will admit that the salesmen are good, but the service department is horrendous and they will screw you over big time. After emailing the dealership more than 2 weeks ago, I have yet to get a response! I am currently in the process of contacting the Better Businesss Bureau. More

The recommendation of a friend who had done business with them in the past also encouraged us to give them a try. As soon as we arrived, Argo Ellis greeted is with a calm and friendly welcome; shortly thereafter, we had ordered exactly what we had came to buy - a 2010 Jetta Sportwagen TDI (diesel). Argo was courteous with out time, always polite, and made sure all of our questions were answered. His knowledge of the vehicle we had selected impressed us, and he provided some useful tips for owning and operating a diesel car. He even made the time to contact us while our vehicle was on order, calling and/or emailing to provide periodic updates. This has probably been the most enjoyabe car-buying process we have ever experienced. My wife and I highly recommend Argo Ellis and the rest of the Checkered Flag Volkswagen team. We would be happy to purchase another vehicle from them in the future. More

We were very happy with Stan Anders as our salesman. The only issue we had was that we were told a car would be delivered by a certain date and it took much longer. Our only other issue was that we once getting the car home we noticed a small round indent right above the VW logo on the trunk. It looks like someone leaned on or sat on the car and it left a small dent. We were just so happy to finally have the car that we decided not to press the issue. We can't imagine why the car already had this small dent. Other than that, we are happy with the car so far. We would use Stan again. My husband was impressed that he came to our house to deliver the paper work. More

I fell in love with the Jetta TDI online and requested information through Checkered flag. I was surprised to be contacted not even 24 hours after filling out my information. I explained that I had recently been in a car accident and my car was a total loss, and that I had NEVER shopped for Volkswagens before as I have always been a Toyota fan. The person that called me assured me that he would get me introduced to a salesperson that would be knowledgeable and attentive. Again, within less than 24 hours I was contacted by Matt Seyfert who from the very first phone contact was interested in exactly what I wanted, and what my concerns were. I was impressed that I never had to repeat the story of my accident as it had already been relayed to him. He was already aware of what I was going through and was ready to get started right away! We set up a meeting and he found the car of my dreams. Matt let my husband and I test drive the vehicles and wasn't an overwhelming dealer that wanted to be around all the time. He let us go off on our own and get a feel for the vehicles ourselves. I wanted to weigh all my options so I told Matt that I wanted to look around to other dealers and at other vehicles. He absolutely let me walk away without feeling pressured unlike other dealerships that I went to over the next day or so. My husband and I found ourselves going back to Matt with probably hundreds of questions and he was patient and answered them every time. Every time we found another vehicle we liked my husband and I would call Matt to see if there was a way he could sell it to us because he was that personable and he was working that hard for us. After all of the new car shopping we decided to settle on a nice, used vehicle and reattempt a new vehicle in the next year or so. Matt jumped right on the opportunity to help me with the used vehicle process as well. Seeing that I was extremely disappointed that I could not get the new vehicle that I truly wanted he took the initiative to spend hours taking me around to every single checkered flag dealership until I found a used car that fit in my price range and was something that I felt safe in and would want for the next couple of years. Matt even put up with talking to my dad on the phone throughout the buying process since I am not great at buying cars myself and my dad used to be in the car business. Not once did he act as if we were an inconvenience to his day or that we were any less important than his other customers. I will MOST DEFINITELY be coming back to Checkered Flag and more specifically / importantly Matt Seyfert when I am ready to buy my new vehicle! Thank you! More
