My experience also includes the Checkered Flag Audi Dealership Also. I Have and Audi which is a car made by Volkswagen. Since They are the Only Audi dealer in Hampton Roads you can never get a appointm Dealership Also. I Have and Audi which is a car made by Volkswagen. Since They are the Only Audi dealer in Hampton Roads you can never get a appointment on time it is always a week waiting period. So I went and got my oil change done at the Audi dealership which is supposed to have where they check all this other stuff. A week Later my A6 had the low level light come back on took it back which took another week.I was advised I needed knew Piston Rings. I then took my car to Volkswagen since I was advised they can work on it and there is more choice in prices. I went to the Checkered Flag Hyundai Volkswagen dealership and they seemingly are refusing to work on my car. I have explained 3 times why am trying to get a quote. the first time i went in was told the two mechanics that work on them weren't there and wouldn't be until Monday. I called back when I was off Thursday since I was at work otherwise and was advised by the supervisor that the Mechanic would call me back that day at 3pm when i called. There was no return call at all. I called today and spoke with one of the rudest women I have ever talked to that patronized me. Instead of any of what I prior discussed being notated I had to repeat myself and explain all over again. Then I was advised have to wait until Monday again. I advised her I thought it very unprofessional that it wasn't done what I was advised. I was given the whatever sorry instead of them trying to inconvenience the people that were inconveniencing my time. I stated I was going to go to another dealership and was immediately hung up on. That is why I gave such a low rating and will discourage any of my friends from going there again. More

We were looking for a specific set of features and a specific color, neither of which they had at their lot that day, but he made arrangements to find where one was available and would have gotten it for us by the next day. We opted to purchase our second choice which was already on the lot instead. The manager, Brian Lane, was very nice as well. We settled on a price that I was comfortable with without a six hour game of cat and mouse which was appreciated. I was given a good price that was consistent with what most others were paying for the same vehicle. The dealership was clean and well organized and all the staff were courteous and accommodating. This was the 4th vehicle I have purchased at Checkered Flag Hyundai, and based on this experience, I will definitely be back again soon. More

Went into the dealership on Virginia Beach Blvd. numerous times over the past 6 months. Each time I looked at various cars and each time I worked with Richard Jakubs. We started at the bottom and worked our way up to the Genesis discussing pros and cons of each vehicle. There was never a time that Richard applied any hard sell tactics, he worked more as a mentor and advisor than a sales person. This was quite instrumental in my decision to buy from Checkered Flag. Ultimately we decided on the Genesis and advised Richard on our decision to purchase the vehicle. He Then introduced us to Billy Daniels who walked us through the financial process and explained all the options that were available to us. He did so in a professional manner that was in plain english and easy to understand. These 2 gentlemen made this car buying experience the best one I have ever experienced.
