Unprofessional I took my car in today to get a state inspection done. I had to wait for over 20 minutes just to be seen. When I walked up to a service representative I took my car in today to get a state inspection done. I had to wait for over 20 minutes just to be seen. When I walked up to a service representative I was blown off and told someone would see me. 15 minutes later getting ready to walk out someone finally came to see me. After I left I decided to call back and ask to have something taken care of on my car and the phone was answered by the same person that blew me off earlier. This service department is disgraceful and unprofessional and does nothing to help the hard work of the sales department. More

I made an appointment to have my car serviced first thing Tuesday morning, and did a Monday night drop off. I called multiple times Tuesday morning to follow up and was assured that my car was being serviced. At 1pm, I received a call saying that my car had not yet been looked at and that I had a new service representative who would take care of me. Later that evening, I was told that the parts for my car's repair would arrive Wednesday and that it would be completed Thursday. The parts didn't arrive on Wednesday, but instead of keeping me apprised of my car's status, it took me calling multiple times Thursday evening to find out that the parts wouldn't arrive until Friday. On Saturday, they told me my car repair was complete and that it was available for pickup. When I picked up my car, they again assured me that the repairs were complete, but the next day the airbag light was on again signifying the issue had not been resolved. I dropped my car off again on a Thursday, and called to find out the status on Friday. They told me they would call me back shortly. They did not call me back until the following Wednesday. The issue with my car has still not been fixed, and I spoke with a manager about the less than professional service I received. He assured me that he would bring my concerns up with their general manager and that the general manager would give me a call. No surprise that it has now been a week since I was told the general manager would call me, and I still have not heard from him. I would not recommend the service department of Checkered Flag Hyundai World. Not only was my time disrespected, but I was not treated as a valued customer. The lack of follow up is a major and consistent concern, and I would strongly recommend not bringing your car here for any service issue that cannot be completed in one visit. More

For two months I have been advising them my car is losing oil and I have to top it off to much, but they refuse to check it and I really couldn't get in for oil changes. I called Hyundai world and they told me to bring the car in for testing for began warranty repairs. I tried to give Priority one more chance, but was told I had to pay for an oil change and 99 dollars for them to look around the car for leaks ; even if under warranty. I meet with Rene and I was so pleased with him and no I will not be going back to priority for anything . Thank you Rene and the mechanic whom you worked with that day, as I appreciate it dearly More

Poor Quality Repairs In April 2016 I took my car to Checkered Flag for routine maintenance. While there they told me my battery was going bad. I found that odd since I had In April 2016 I took my car to Checkered Flag for routine maintenance. While there they told me my battery was going bad. I found that odd since I had experienced no trouble with it. It had been covered in ice for a week, keep in storage for over a year and generally just not driven but had always started without a moments hesitation. But since this was a Hyundai dealership I took them at their word and had the battery replaced. Skip forward 6 months and after sitting for a whopping 7 days in 30-60 degree weather my "new" battery failed to even open the car doors much less start. A phone call to AAA and I was on my way to the dealership to figure out what was up. What did they have to say about my battery? The lady on the phone suggested I just let it sit too long without driving it. The service manager implied I had left the lights on (they are automatic and even when they are not they shut off). He then told me my mistake was having the car jumped. I should have called them and they would have sent a tow truck to bring my car to them so they could see for themselves it wouldn't start. Only then would the warranty be any good. Needless to say I will not be going back there again unless my car is being towed there to get the battery replaced. I am rating them good in friendliness only because I saw an employee help a mother and daughter make hot chocolate not due to anything I experienced. More

I recently had to have work done to the roof of my car due to the hurricane and I wish Checkered Flag Hyundai was on my insurance repair list. THAT establishment needs to take lessons on customer service from Nicole at Checkered Flag Hyundai !! More

Best service advisor at Checkered Flag Hyundai I had to take in my Veloster for service and have been working with Mario in Service. I have never had such a great experience at a dealership before. Mario has been bending over backwards to help me in any way that he can. I highly recommend that if you have a Hyundai that needs service, you bring it here and specifically ask for Mario to be your service advisor. More
