Brad was helpful and gave honest opinions of the cars we were comparing. When my kids (young) were having a melt-down in the dealership because they were going to have to give up the blue car they loved, Brad managed to produce paper and crayons for them to draw pictures of it so they would remember it (as well as a coloring book) and he and the sales manager (Chad?) even went so far as to cut down some of the ceiling balloon decorations for my daughter to try and make her happy (and get her to stop screaming about not wanting a new car - it worked for a while, until they noticed there weren't any blue balloons and that reminded them of the blue car). Chad (?) even both tried to talk to the kids about his kids (only slightly younger than mine) with picture of their new white car and got out some Oct kids promotion kits a couple days early for them (car dealer version of kida menus with crayons). Brad had a talk with my son about not crying and setting an example for his little sister while I was in closing with the finance girl - that actually seemed to help a bit. On a more serious note, in all the confusion, I never quite realised that the car didn't have roof racks standard (I mean who makes an SUV without roof racks). So when I finally got a good look at te car SAT morn and noticed the issue, Brad has managed to get us a discount at getting them installed. My wife will probablyget that done when she picks up the cargo cover and gets brad to set the garage door and blue tooth functions for her phone sometime this week - she wasn't with me at the time and with the kids as they were, Brad was happy to show me what I needed to get out of there with her coming back later for extra training on the advanced settings. Had some interesting conversations while at the dealership - the other sales manager with whom we'd met had just been to Disney where we were headed in the middle of the buying process, and one of the finance girls had actually lived in our house before us. Also I have to note that the dealership played good music. An all around good experience. More

I was a bit overwhelmed by the car buying experience. I initially was not considering a Honda at all, but the first car we looked at fit me completely. Since then, I love the comfort, the gas mileage, the features, and the peace of mind that I have a great car that is reputable and when it is time for servicing, I'll have the same quality experience without haggling. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the entire staff and especially Bo Wang. Purchasing my third Honda (CR-V) that I have ever owned from Checkered Flag Honda was a very positive experienc entire staff and especially Bo Wang. On September 15, 2012 my father and I went out to make my first big car purchase. We went to six different dealerships along virginia beach blvd. When we arrived at Checkered Flag Honda we were greeted in a very friendly yet professional manner by Bo Wang. He led us inside and we discussed the type of car we were looking for. Bo's vast knowledge led us to make the perfect decision in a new 2012 Honda Civic. The atmosphere at Checkered Flag Honda was unlike any of the other dealerships we visited. We felt welcomed and like we were making the perfect decision because Bo Wang and Chad Frick took the time to go over any questions we had making us feel completely at ease. I have already fallen in love with my new car and would recommend Checkered Flag Honda to everyone I know!
