Checkered Flag Honda

Fantastic buying experience! We are the proud owners of a new 2012 Honda Pilot. It was a pleasure to work with Bo Wang. He is by far the friendliest sales person we have ever met. We visited the dealership a few different times over the last 6 months. Bo always took the time to answer our questions and never pressured us. Bo always greets us with a smile and offers plenty of time to test drive. Checkered Flag Honda has a different "feel" than any other dealership. During our search we visited several other dealerships, including Charles Barker, Hall, and Nissan of Chesapeake to name a few. All Hall dealerships want you to sit down first, answer 20 questions, meet 2 "managers", and ask you multiple times if you are buying the car/truck "today"....all this BEFORE you have even test driven the vehicle! Nissan of Chesapeake actually wanted us to sit down and "work the numbers" before test driving. The atmosphere is totally different at Checkered Flag Honda. It starts from the moment you pull into the dealership. You never feel like you are being pounced on in the parking lot. When you go inside, the tables you sit down at are in the main lobby but are semi-private. You will not be shoved in a small office. The dealersip has a very open and non-threatening feeling. We never met the sales managers that we negotiated price with, at first this seemed a little strange, but overall I think it made the negotiation process feel less stressful. We purchased our new vehicle on New Years Eve, and when the bank gave us the wrong paperwork, both Bo and Mark were very patient while we made calls back to the bank and they even offered us the opportunity to take possession of the Pilot while the bank made the corrections if we wanted. We are hopeful, once the time comes, that our experience with the "service" side of the house will be just as great. This is my second vehicle bought from the Checkered Flag family and certainly will not be our last :) We highly recommend Bo Wang and we will be sure to send some referrals his way! When we decided we were ready to purchase a new car we had decided we wanted a CRV. We met Benjamin Mung'aithi on Sunday, Dec. 16 just to see if the 2013's were in. We went back on Tuesday, Dec. 18 to test drive a CRV to be sure it was what we wanted. I felt like we received a decent offer (hopefully) so we made the purchase.
