Yesterday I traded in a pick up truck and purchased a 2014 honda civic. Mr. Renwick Jones, the salesperson that assisted during the whole process was very professional and pleasant to work with. I did not feel pressured and felt that I really had a good deal on my trade in and the purchase of the honda civic. After dealing with checkered flag, all the other dealerships just cannot compare to the quality of service you could always expect from checkered flag staff. I also want to thank Mr. Bo Wang and the sales manager for making the whole experience very satisfying. Thanks guys. More

Great Customer Care Within the first 12 hours of purchasing my used car, the check engine light came on. As you can imagine, we were pretty upset. The service department took my car as soon as I brought it back and did more than necessary to make sure my car was perfect, going so far as to send my car to a competitors Ford dealership so specialized Ford mechanics could make sure the car was in perfect working order. Checkered Flag then covered the $100 deductible for my warrantee, paid all of the expenses for repair regardless if it was covered under my warranty, and gave me a free rental to use while it was being serviced. I might have been upset at the beginning, but the time, effort and ability to take care of the problem won me over. I know I wouldn't get the same kind of service at other dealerships, and would easily recommend to other friends bad family members! More

No high pressure, answered every question with a smile. I can be difficult when dealing with sales people (my wife says), but I know what I want and I do not want a pushy sales person like you find at many dealerships. Rick and Checkered Flag Honda gave my wife and I the most stress free and enjoyable auto buying experience either of us had ever had, period. Well, Checkered Flag Honda in Virginia Beach was a pleasant surprise. Anthony Nikade, the salesperson I was working with, made me feel comfortable. He was very personable, helpful, and knowledgeable.His main focus was helping me find what I was looking for and nothing else. No pressure of any kind either before or after the sale. Brandon Robbins, the sales manager, was equally personable and helpful. He worked with me throughout the entire process with open cards and we agreed on a price I was extremely happy with. Bend over backwards Great service. Was coming in from out of state on the train and my sales person drove 35 minutes, waited an hour for three late train, then stayed til Great service. Pleasantly Surprised We purchased our 2010 CRV in July of last year and have really enjoyed the car. We started having a problem with the car not starting due to, what see We purchased our 2010 CRV in July of last year and have really enjoyed the car. We started having a problem with the car not starting due to, what seemed like, a dead battery. After we jumped it it would run fine for up to a couple of months without any other issues. In April of 2014 there were 3 times that this problem occurred before the 15th of the month. I contacted the service department and was able to bring the car right in and drop it off. I didn't need it back right away and I wanted to make sure it was not rushed. I got a call from Tina the next day and she indicated that the technician had determined that the battery had a dead cell in it. She actually had the tech standing right there and I was able to speak with him. (sorry, I don't remember his name) I disagreed with his diagnosis because of the extreme length of time between incidents. He was very professional in his explanation and did not talk to me like I was "just another mistrusting customer". I told Tina to go ahead and install the new battery and that I would be there to pick up the car in a couple of hours. When I arrived, I was checked out by David, again professional. It was then that I found out the amount was less than I had been told it was going to be by Tina. That had never happened before at any other dealership. I thanked them for their time and the smaller than expected bill and went outside to give my wife the keys and leave. That's when I discovered that they had washed the car...........it had rained all morning and they were calling for more......soon.........they washed it anyway. I left the dealership happy and satisfied that I had made the right choice in buying my car from Checkered Flag. More
