There were no hidden surprises or fees and no negotiation was required; pricing is competitive and up-front. I got my first choice of color and the LX was equipped exactly the way I wanted. I wasn't pressured to buy anything I didn't want. Checkered Flag was very competitive with the best deals I've seen at other dealerships (within $100). When you include their their free lifetime inspections, free lifetime oil changes and convenient location, the decision to buy from them was an easy one. I don't believe in blindly buying from a dealership... I shop around whenever I buy. This is my second vehicle from Checkered Flag and both experiences I've had have been very positive. More

GAME CHANGER My husband and I did about a year of market research on buying a new vehicle. We had both been previously exploited by the local Hall Dealerships. So needless to say, we were very skeptical when it came to car dealerships. By doing our research, our intention was to be well informed and not be blindsided. We got preapproved by our bank and knew exactly what we wanted. We had already test drove it and watched several YouTube videos throughout the year. When we finally decided to go ahead with the purchase, the only other choice we had to make was which dealership to buy from. And we knew which one we DIDN'T want! So I contacted Checkered Flag Honda, via an online query. Now mind you, this is somewhat out of the way for us, but we were adamant about not giving Hall one more penny! I received a call within minutes. It was Carl Dyson. I told Mr. Dyson that I was interested in the Honda Pilot and wanted to come to the dealership and meet with him. I told him that I was going to take an Uber to the bank to pick up my preapproved check and then to the dealership. He insisted that he could pick me up and that I didn't have to take a cab. And that's exactly what he did. I expected my day at the dealership to drag on forever as they always tend to do. I always imagined dealers betting behind the scenes on who can make their customers wait the most. And whoever won, got a special bonus. At least that's what it felt like. But this was different. I was confused. Why was I comfortable? Should I be feeling good about this? I always felt tired and nervous before. Oh wait, I don't have to negotiate a price! Carl is getting paid regardless. Another thing I noticed immediately, which took a minute to get used to, was that everyone was happy. There was genuine joy in the room! It wasn't your typical dealer-desperado stampede the minute you step foot on the lot. It really takes a moment to take it all in. So fast forward to our purchase. We bought the amazing 2017 Honda Pilot Elite. I am so in love with it!! When we went to pick it up (it was at the car show for the weekend), the computer systems were down. This meant that I could not get my tags because it required use of the DMV website. They gave me temporary dealer plates and asked if I could return the next day. I agreed. I wasn't feeling very well the next day and asked if I could postpone it until the next day. Carl said not to worry. Next thing I know, he came to my house and actually put the plates on himself for me!!! I would also like to thank DJ, in finance, and Paul, the manager for their kindness and hospitality. What a joke! As we all know, dealerships are out to make the largest possible profit in any way they can. But our visit to this dealer was a waste of time. The low ball offer on our trade was offensive, especially considering other dealers had appraised thousands higher.(Like most, we were shopping around) They give you the line that KBB gave an instant offer, but they were willing to give a couple thousand more because they need newer used cars. (Other dealers explained the KBB instant offer is always low because they have not physically seen your vehicle) And we were also told they have smart no haggle prices. (Which, by the way, are comparable to other dealers in the area who do negotiate) So, do yourself a favor, visit Hall or Priority If you're in the market for a new Honda and save yourself time and money. More

All I can say is, without a doubt, that not only did he meet my expectations, he surpassed them! Since I hadn’t purchased a new car since 2008, I was extremely nervous about trading in my old car for a new one. I really didn't want another car note, but Mr. Brown was very patient and willing to answer any questions I had concerning the different payment plans they had to offer. So, I didn’t feel rushed or confused about what I should do next. I ended up leasing a 2017 Honda Accord, that I am extremely happy with. I definitely would recommend Mr. Larry Brown and the entire Checkered Honda Team to anyone whose interested in getting a new or used vehicle,,they are the Best at what they do!! :-) More
