Maing a decision on a new car is exciting and at times stressful. My experience with Michael Kulp was a pleasurable one. He was very friendly, always smiled, and was very accomodating. Michael always answered his mobile phone when we contacted him. He shared that he had been with BMW Checkered Flag for 2 years, however it felt like he had been there for much longer. He was very knowledgeable about the car we purchased and to this day is still offering to show us how to operate all of the features. I would recommend him to anyone. The Financial Director, Danene Taylor was also very nice and professional. Very personable and accomodating. If I could do this purchase again I would have done it differently. It was something I should have thought about before signing all of the documents. It was something I neglected to do and not the dealership. You're in good hands with Checkered Flag BMW. More
For our first foray into the "premium" used car market (as opposed to a regular new car), we wanted to make sure that we were dealing with organizations with a proven record of service, and Checkered Flag (as opposed to a regular new car), we wanted to make sure that we were dealing with organizations with a proven record of service, and Checkered Flag fit that bill. We worked with two dealerships (BMW and Audi), and were impressed by both operations. Our BMW salesman, Michael Kulp, was very helpful and knowledgeable about all the vehicles. On our first visit, we showed up unannounced with a kid in tow, and Michael stepped right up to help us out. We went on several test drives (on the route we chose), and Michael was able to fully explain the cars as well as what the buying experience would be like. When we finally chose a car, we were able to get the deal closed and out the door with the car (including appraising our trade) in just over an hour and a half. There was never any sales pressure or up-selling, and the closing process didn't have the usual hard-sell on various warranties or undercoating, and they actually included new floor mats. The day after the sale, my wife was able to come back to the dealership for a one-hour iDrive tutorial, so now at least one of us can tune the radio. We did quite a bit of research on-line about pricing for the car as well as our trade, and Checkered Flag gave us what I think was a fair price for both. They didn't move very much off the posted price, but the posted price on this particular car was already decent. In looking around, their pricing was competitive with CarMax, and a couple grand above private party sales. A big draw for us was that all the cars we looked at were local lease, trades, or loaners that had been originally bought and serviced at Checkered Flag. All of the 3-year-old cars on the lot that we looked at were in spotless like-new condition, and we had several to choose from that would have fitted our needs. My only complaint would be that that the pricing and details of the cars posted on the dealership website frequently didn't match the actual vehicles. Mileage was off on one vehicle by 20,000 miles, and the "sale" hangtags on the cars themselves were different than the internet price by up to $10k. On the car we purchased, the internet price and hangtag price were off by $2k. On looking at the vehicles, the internet price seemed to be correct. The options listed on the website were frequently generic and not specific to the vehicle. Once Michael taught us what to look for in the on-line photos we could pretty much figure out what each car had, but three of the cars we wanted to look at didn't have detailed photos on-line. More

I was referred to Brett and had made arrangements to visit on New Year's Eve, a busy day. When we got there, he had pulled a candidate vehicle around and it was all ready for a test drive. Would I have loved a lower price? Sure, wouldn't everyone? I will recommend Brett to friends for sure. More

Brett always goes the extra mile to help us. This is the third vehicle we have purchased through him. This time around we were looking at a model that is brand new, and we came in thinking we would have to third vehicle we have purchased through him. This time around we were looking at a model that is brand new, and we came in thinking we would have to order the car to get one. But Brett was able to find a car coming over on a ship with the color and options we were looking for. This saved us about 9 weeks of waiting to get behind the wheel of this new car. Anytime I had a question, Brett was immediate with the response, he kept us informed on the entire tracking until the call to stay it is here. I would recommend him to anyone that was looking to purchase a BMW in this area. We find him a delight to work with. It is his customer service that keeps us loyal to both him and the brand. More
My wife and I were looking to replace her previous 535i that was totaled in a storm. She being in the medical field needs a reliable vehicle and can't be without one for any length of time. From the time we'd walked into the dealership it took 3 weeks to deliver her new 535i from Germany that when located was just starting the paint process. Also this car was slated to go to another dealership. Brett worked with the other dealership to secure the vehicle and kept in touch with my wife over the 3 weeks tracking the vehicle. when the day came to take ownership of the 535i the whole process of taking delivery, Brett going over everthing on the car and dealing with finace/paper working was pleasant and quick. It was a joy doing bussiness with Brett. I'd definantly recommend Brett and the dealership to prospective buys and friends. More

There was no haggling and the offer was just as good as I received in 2008. Michael Kulp did an excellent job of explaining the options and answering in questions/concerns I had. He kept me posted from the time the manufacturing started until the car was delivered. There is a dealership closer to where I live, but the extra 45 minutes of travel is well worth it. I was also impressed with the finance/warranty person. Her service was also excellent and enjoyable. I will continue to recommend this dealership and Michael Kulp. More
