Never before have we had a dealership give us a follow-up call after the sales to make sure that everything was o.k. and we were pleased with the product. We have only had the car for one week but so far we are quite happy with it. Our only regret is that we didn't drive it on an open highway before the purchase. We have decided that cruise control option which we did not get would have been a distinct advantage. More

With each visit, we were greeted with smiles by the receptionist, Brittany, and our sales rep Brett, who then introduced us to the sales supervisor, John. All treated us as if we were family members stopping in for a visit, even offering a cup of coffee or a bottled water. Our test drive was extensive, allowing both of us to drive enough to experience the vehicle in city and highway conditions. Afterward, we were presented with a myriad of buying and leasing alternatives from which to choose. We can't say enough about our sales rep, Brett. He was most professional and personable. During our pre-delivery orientation, he was very thorough in explaining the operation of the vehicle. Even afterward, he has called us periodically to ensure everything is alright, with an offer to answer any questions we have about the vehicle. Overall, this was a most gratifying experience, which is an unusual comment regarding an automobile dealership. If you're in the market for a BMW, see Brett. You won't be disappointed. More

After calling the sales manager to make an appointment to come down to test drive and buy, I went down and was given a salesman who hadn't sold BMWs before! My wife was disappointed that she knew more than the salesman. None of the new 2011 Z4's on the lot had a manual transmission as my wife required so we could not purchase that day. We sent a request for quote to four nearby dealerships. Checkered Flag was not the lowest but I explained if they could get close I would rather buy locally. They were $1K high and would not come down. Richmond BMW was closer to the best deal but willing to adjust the price and throw in enough extras to be competitive. Strike one. I went to the Checkered Flag web site to drop an email to the service department to request the price on a 1200 mile break in service that was not covered by the new BMW service plan. I got an immediate automated reply the "we will contact you shortly." Five days later I replied to that email that I had not been contacted. I then received a "human" email asking for my phone number and hours I could be contacted. I replied 11-7pm. At 3pm the next day I still had not been contacted! I called. "Well, you said in your email I had till 7pm." !! You have a customer willing to spend money, having a problem getting in touch with you that is entirely on your end and you are waiting till the last minute?! I was finally told my initial email went into a black hole (after it generated a confirmation) and the web guys would fix it. Strike two. I don't think I'll will give them another pitch any time soon. I tried to support the local business. More

We said we were looking at several other vehicles for comparison and there was no pressure from Steve for further information. He merely stated he would follow up with us soon. He did exactly what he said and followed up the next day asking if we had any questions and directed us to the Mini USA website. None of the other dealerships called us for follow up. We came back two more times asking for more information and to look at other vehicles on the lot. Each time we were given free rein to walk around and look at vehicles without Steve looking over our shoulder and probing us for information. The price given to us was very fair and there was no pressure to close the deal. When we finally purchased the vehicle, it was put inside the building and Steve spent over an hour going over all the features of the vehicle with us. Excellent service - I am also receiving follow up e-mails after the sale! More

Our Motoring Adviser, Brian Fellini, was genuinely a fun guy to work with and made us feel like we were buying a car from an old trusted friend. We can honestly say that we have never laughed and smiled that much while purchasing a car. We were never hassled nor did we ever feel pressured into making a purchase. Brian took the time to answer each and every last one of my questions. He honestly wanted us to be comfortable and let us take as much time as we needed to make our decision. Having purchased several cars, I have come to put car buying in the same catagory as visiting the dentist. Untill now. I brought a new Smart Fortwo (Loving it!) and had my adult children tag along to the dealership. Now they all want to go back and buy their own.
