This is our 6th Toyota; 3 highlanders; 3 Lexus. We went to ChathamParkway Toyota(CP) as a result of a very bad sales experience at Savannah Toyota. Went to CP on 12/2. Louise(Ithink his name is correct? to ChathamParkway Toyota(CP) as a result of a very bad sales experience at Savannah Toyota. Went to CP on 12/2. Louise(Ithink his name is correct?-Marine from Miami) was excellent explaining the car and working with wife driving. Put deposit on 12/3 for car arrival 12/16. Sale process was easy as we knew what we wanted. They thru a few BS requirements in the bid--N2 and was told it doesn't leak as fast(I laughed at them)--BS and the earths atmosphere is 78% N2. + window tinting, etc. There were still 3 or 4 handoffs to different people--drive car, answer questions, put bid together. Since we wanted the car to be delivered on 12/16 , I did not even negotiate the MSRP as I usually do. We felt good --suggestion ::::::handoffs create problems. Appointment for 12/17 canceled as the crossbars had not arrived.(Did someone forget to order--two weeks for such a simple item seems about 12 days too long, Required 4 hrs to get car on the way. Had two more handoffs explaining multimedia console. Back in the office to sign a bunch of documents. Spent 1/2 hr figuring out how and when to fix the scratched on the rear---did no one notice this?????????- and this should have been fixed before we saw the car. The service manager and Robert Campbell were very thorough and patient with my wife trying to figure out how and when to fix the scratch, As our Friday appointment was cancelled, and with no paintshop on Saturday---the crossbar delay created our inability to get the scratch fixed while we spent 4 hrs at the dealer. One issue causing two new issues. Then Waited 40 min sitting on my thumbs waiting for finance and then he had to input our data--should have been done earlier. Then he springs an extended warranty pitch before we have to sign about 20 documents. I was so worn out, I just signed to get home before midnight. I could have reviewed the warranty any time over the past two weeks. We also could have completed the multimedia details while we were waiting for finance. Total f---ing disorganized fiasco. Had to go back to the car to finish the multimedia info, wires, bluetooth, etc--with Brittany.5*. Our next car will time organized and will be less than half what we just experienced More
