Terrible service I always get 10 years and 200,000 miles from my vehicles, so dependability and service are extremely important. My last car was a Mazda MPV. My husban I always get 10 years and 200,000 miles from my vehicles, so dependability and service are extremely important. My last car was a Mazda MPV. My husband has a 2000 Nissan Frontier which has never let him down, not once. As I had read so much about the dependability and longevity of Subarus, I bought one from Chatham Pakway, and paid cash. It has been one year since I drove it off the lot. In the last couple of days, at least four different warning lights have started coming off and on intermittently. Today, I was stranded twice as the gear was stuck in park. Nothing I did worked. I finally gave up and left it as the temps are neat 100. After almost an hour and many attempts, I finally got it into drive,The service department at Chatham cannot get me in for FOUR days, even though I told them the car is stuck in park again, and can't be driven. I also told them my husband will be out of town for several weeks, and I am concerned it will either break down due to the numerous warning lights flashing off and on, or I will be unable to get the gear in drive. I will never do business with them again. The service department keeps customers. I'll be going to Nissan to trade the Subaru, if I ever get into the service department at Chatham Parkway so get the one I have fixed.Tje person from the Internet chat said a service employee would call..,still waiting. Horrendous: avoid at all cost, nasty used-car dealer habits Our family was in the market for a new Subaru and we dealt with Marquis online. He was fairly responsive, but when asked for better deals (who gave us the most expensive quotes of all dealers), he became verbally abusive and wrote 2 page long email rants about how he and the dealership provide superior customer service. What a joke. We sadly made the mistake of going in-person to check out the car and were cornered by the dealer and manager, kept waiting and then bullied in an attempt to buy a car we did not want at a ridiculously high price. We dealt with Marquis Byrd online only, Malcolm Williams and the manager in person. What a waste of time. We hated the experience from the first minutes. While we would have just walked away and forgotten about the whole thing, the interactions left such a bad taste that we felt compelled enough to write about it and warn others of this place. More

Avoid this dealership I found a car on cars.com at this dealership. I called, verified they had it, and asked them to hold it. The next day I drove up to purchase the car. I found a car on cars.com at this dealership. I called, verified they had it, and asked them to hold it. The next day I drove up to purchase the car. Not only was it not detailed, there were multiple scuff marks on the front seats--I presume from people test driving it and a 12" scratch through the paint on the left rear bumper. I wish they would have disclosed this before I drove up. When I pointed this out to the salesman, he asked, When is the last time I bought a new car? This is how some come, with minor scratches and dents. xxx? There was also a similar car for a similar price at the dealer in Kennesaw, GA. I called them, asked them to hold it and bought it four hours later. When I arrived, it was detailed and in ideal condition. There is no way I can recommend Chatham Subaru. More
