They told me it would cost 1500 to get this problem fixed. It was clear they were responsible for the damage to my vehicle and refused to own up to it. I spoke with the service manager, service director(This guy’s name is Evan and is probably the rudest individual I have ever dealt with), and the GM in regards to this issue. Again, please avoid this place because they will not own up to their mistakes. It’s a shame the current leadership they have in place handled this problem the way they did. Response to their response: They claim there is no connection with my damaged part and the recall performed. What’s interesting is they claim a bolt mysteriously broke off on my fuel rail which happens to be right next to where the recall performed. I’ll let you be the judge on the “no connection” comment they made. Additionally, the bolt that supposedly broke off manage to disappear. If the bolt broke, it would most likely still be in the fuel rail since 100% of the time bolts break, the broken bolt remains in the threaded portion of where it broke. Lastly, I drove this car 30 miles to my house when it started acting funny. Fuel would have been spraying everywhere if the bolt broke off prior to me bringing it in. This is a very high pressured fuel system and the fuel supply feed line not only had o-rings that were damaged, but was also pried up to where fuel would have been spraying all over my engine. Again, their story is highly inaccurate and they refuse to own up to it. I would definitely pursue this in court if I had time. At this point, the 1k I had to spend doesn’t even matter, it’s the principle. More
