Best buying experience EVER! Last Saturday, I purchased a 2020 XC60 T5. Volvo Charlotte was my last stop, after a long day of car shopping. I walked in 30min before closing time Last Saturday, I purchased a 2020 XC60 T5. Volvo Charlotte was my last stop, after a long day of car shopping. I walked in 30min before closing time and was introduced to Jimmy Bailey. I knew which model I was interested in and took two different cars on a test drive. I put a deposit down that night and picked up the new Volvo on Monday. I really can't say enough positive things about my experience with Jimmy Bailey! I never felt rushed or pressured. Service Dept. is incompetent My 2013 XC90 was shuttering going into 2nd and 3rd gears. The service dept. not only didn't fix it, when they gave it back to me, it was worse than i My 2013 XC90 was shuttering going into 2nd and 3rd gears. The service dept. not only didn't fix it, when they gave it back to me, it was worse than it was when I took it in. Meanwhile, they charged me $700 for the "repair." Amy, the Service Manager, and Gary, the Service Rep, were of no help and it was very difficult to even get ahold of them, much less receive a call back from them. I demanded they give my money back, which supposedly they are going to do, so I can use it to pay another mechanic to actually fix the car. I own two Volvos and I've had to take both of them back after taking them in for repairs because they were not in fact repaired. One time I took my XC90 in for routine maintenance and asked them to put my spare tire back in it's place (I'd had a flat and just put the spare in the car, knowing I had to take the car in for service soon, so would just ask them to put it back under the car where it goes). They put it in upside down. I realized this when I heard something big bouncing around as I was driving. I looked under the car and sure enough, the tire was hanging from the cable, but not secured to the car. My husband put it in the right way, fixing the problem. If these mechanics can't even attach a spare tire correctly, it makes sense they can't fix mechanical problems. More
