Once the wife and I were able to stop in and check out the car we were looking at (2013 Ford Focus ST), we talked with Josh Christensen as he went over the car after finding out more about us and what we were looking for in a car and why we wanted to look at the Focus ST. Josh went along with us as we test drove the car. We loved the car, so a long to making the deal we went. We traded in my wife's car and I feel like we received a great deal and I'm still not disappointed one bit. They went above and beyond making us feel welcome and taken care of. I was a firm GM buyer, but due to GM not being able to stack up on certain aspects, I will be gladly buying another vehicle from Charles Gabus Ford even though it is two hours away and I have multiple dealers with ten minutes. More
I just stopped by Gabus Ford to take a quick look after I had done some online reviewing of the Ford Edge from several different dealerships. Jake Simmons walked me through a training session, which lasted long after the dealership had closed for the day!! WOW!! I was able to drive home that day in my new Ford Edge. My sales representative, Erika Hall, stayed throughout the training and left for day herself when I finally drove away. Excellent customer service!! I look forward to a new relationship with Gabus Ford. More

Doug was fantastic to work with and was focused on exceeding my needs and expectations. He was friendly, polite, informative, and not too pushy. I have been trying to get my car in for an oil change for almost 3 weeks. No joke. They advertise "Oil Changes For Life" which does you no good if you can't get your car in for service. It takes almost a wee almost 3 weeks. No joke. They advertise "Oil Changes For Life" which does you no good if you can't get your car in for service. It takes almost a week and a half to get it in for an oil change unless I want to leave it for a day to see if they can squeeze it in and that doesn't guarantee that it will even get done. I called and spoke to Jim Bitner (General Manager) and his exact words to me were "we are busy, what do you want me to do?" He said that they were hiring and couldn't "find people qualified to work there" Well, then my suggestion for Gabus is: Don't advertise and promote something you can't truly deliver on!! Luckily, I was able to call Dewey Ford in Ankeny and they got my car in within 10 minutes. They even gave me my oil change for free to try them out and washed the car before giving it back. Odd that a dealership that I wasn't a customer bent over backwards for me, yet the dealership that I was a customer at treated me like crap. I have purchased two vehicles at this dealership and been a customer for years. There will not be a third vehicle purchased, and I will not recommend this place to anyone! More
FYI, Charles Gabus Ford uses S&C Automotive to put in car remote starters. If you have any problems after you leave the lot, you may have to take of work to have them fix it. S&C Automotive does not wo car remote starters. If you have any problems after you leave the lot, you may have to take of work to have them fix it. S&C Automotive does not work weekends, which is when most people do their car maintenance. I have had nothing but problems with my remote when I first picked up my new car, then they fixed it (had to have a relative take off work several times). Now, the remote again "needs to be re-programmed". Again, I will have to either take a vacation day or ask a friend to take off work so they can simply re-program the remote. Luckily, every time they have had to fix the POS, it is within the 3 year warranty. After 3 years, I will have to throw it away. But at least I have two cool key chains out of it. Not happy with either S&C or Ford for using them. More
3rd new vehicle purchased with the help of Jeff Turner. I generally am a pain in the butt for him and really make him work for his commission. Steve Sanders was recommended to me by a friend that I work with who had recently purchased a vehicle from him. Steve was very responsive to my questions and had the new F150 XLT all ready to go (off the work with who had recently purchased a vehicle from him. Steve was very responsive to my questions and had the new F150 XLT all ready to go (off the lot, clean with gas) when I arrived for a test drive. This was not the case at other dealerships. He also rode along on the test drive to point out features and answer questions on the truck. He made the process as easy as it gets from first contact to financing, etc.This was our first purchase from Gabus Ford and most likely won't be our last! More
