We received your submitted review of Charles Gabus Ford and your experience with your purchase. It is unfortunate that your purchase experience did not meet your expectations. You requested service history on the truck, stating that you wanted fluids and filters changed. When the salesperson replied with our service history, he informed you that the fuel filters were not changed. When you arrived, you inspected and drove the truck. To complete the transaction you required that we replace the fuel filters. At that point, the salesperson got management to approve the extra expenditure. Once you knew this was to be completed you "examined the truck thoroughly inside and out, test drove the truck and made the decision to purchase it." After completing the necessary paperwork, it came time to get with one of our delivery coordinators and go over the operation of the truck. However, when you came into the delivery bay, while the vehicle was running, you "noticed a faint squeak." The delivery coordinator took you and the truck to the service department to have the noise investigated. Getting this accomplished, takes time, we did not have the part in stock, so we had to get the part from another Ford dealer and install it. Charles Gabus Ford has been in business for over 60 years. We strive to meet everyone's expectations, but sometimes they may be unattainable. Ultimately we replaced the fuel filters per your request and repaired the noise that we (you and us) missed when we inspected the vehicle. Please accept our apology. James Bintner General Manager
