My 2023 Chevy Colorado has left me stranded twice due to the software. I entered an appointment 2 weeks in advance to get my oil changed, tires rotated and check the current software version on the truck to the software. They did the oil change and the tire rotation but refused to check the version and told me to make another appointment. They had two weeks to reschedule the appointment to get everything done but instead, I have to waste more of my time and drive 52 miles so they can check the software. If it is up to date, it's a wasted trip- they could have checked it when I was there. GM is horrible in letting customers know their software needs to be upgraded, a terrible process of upgrading the software and this dealer isn't sensitive to that. Chevy has it locked in with the software so you can't go to a third party but I can go to a different dealer. The $47,000 truck has 7,500 miles on it. Due to the lack of support from GM and the dealers, I really regret buying it. More
