Kathy went above and beyond. Se got me right in and even got my scheduled 10,000 service rescheduled to be done at the same time as my tire repair...She even found me new jack to replace the one that broke got my scheduled 10,000 service rescheduled to be done at the same time as my tire repair...She even found me new jack to replace the one that broke trying to jack up my car. She offered transportation to and from, was very open and up ront on the cost, and she really made me feel she cared about me, and my sore back, and not just another client. That's customer service! I have given this rating because everyone at the dealership was very helpful and friendly. Kathy was communicative and great to deal with. I have been going to this VW dealer since my Eurovan was I have been going to this VW dealer since my Eurovan was purchased there in 2003 from Al Fleming, a great and very knowledgable salesman. I get f I have been going to this VW dealer since my Eurovan was purchased there in 2003 from Al Fleming, a great and very knowledgable salesman. I get free lifetime oil changes which is a great loss leader. I always spend more on additional service. Sammie does a great job as service writer and Matt is an excellent and dedicated mechanic. To see "VW" tatooed on his arms is a clue to his dedication... Beaudry was the previous dealer and made two big mistakes on my car. One was inserting a brake pad 'hard side to the rotor' which destroyed the rotor. I was on a trip and on a Sunday had to raise the car, remove the wheel and pad and turn it around. On another occasion, I had the tires replaced and on a Sunday started out to California and the tires had not been balanced. No wheel weights. On top of that the welded seam on the bottom left side of the van had been crushed. Chapman has bought out Beaudry and have been perfect with their service. Sammy was great. After returnig from the dealership I noticed the left rear tail light was out. This should have been fixed at the time of my service. Sammie Boykin is an excellent service advisor. We drove the 280 miles to get our car serviced and are glad we did! The work was done in one day and the car was returned perfectly clean. All fluids were top the 280 miles to get our car serviced and are glad we did! The work was done in one day and the car was returned perfectly clean. All fluids were topped to the correct level. And oil was not overfilled. Excellent experience and we will be back for all our VW service needs. More
Chapman's has a good reputation and I have been very satisfied with sales and service personnel. I have had several VWs in the past and loved them which is why I purchased my 2009 Tiguan two years ago. satisfied with sales and service personnel. I enjoy having my Beetle serviced at Chapman because everyone is very friendly and ready and willing to answer any questions I may have. Every time I leave there, I feel confident that my car is safe to everyone is very friendly and ready and willing to answer any questions I may have. Every time I leave there, I feel confident that my car is safe to drive. I don't mind waiting because I can take time to relax in the lounge and have a cup of coffee, cappuccino, mocha, or whatever I feel for. It's always a pleasant surprise to walk out of the lounge to pick up my car and see that it's even been washed. I don't know of any other place where you can get your car serviced without worrying about the honesty of the employees, relax in the lounge, and have your car washed all in the same place. I liked that they were honest! I needed a door latch fixed, and they gave me instructions buying a product and on gluing back together it so I didn't have to spend 1000 dollars fixing it. I rated the price as "good" because I received a coupon in the mail for a special price for oil change with the knowledge that prices vary and of course my oil change was much higher. I perfer not to get a in the mail for a special price for oil change with the knowledge that prices vary and of course my oil change was much higher. I perfer not to get a coupon if it doesn't apply to my car. My suggestion would be to list the vehichle's that the coupon would apply too, there by not causing me or any other customer the frustration's of finding out that the job is costing more than expected. Otherwise, I always have a great experience with Scott, he is pleasant and explains the situation to me in a manner I can understand and doesn't make me feel stupid. More
