I have gone into the service department a couple times since I have purchased my 2010 VW Jetta. Each time the staff has been Extraordinary! They came up to me right away when I pulled in. Ed was amazing. I came in because my brakes were squealing. I had the car completely inspected at Chapman in January, as a precautionary measure before I decided to buy it, and told them the brakes squealing. The service tech said the brakes had 7 millimeters still on the pads. After I purchased the car in February, the brakes were getting worse and I visited my local repair shop for an opinion. I was told that the brakes had only 20% left on the pads. I told Ed about this and that I had only put 4000 miles on the car since the inspection and he said that, if Chapman made an error in the inspection, he would replace the brakes at no cost to me. He reviewed the past service information and the end result was the my brake pads and rotors were completely replaced for free. Additionally, they checked my battery and said that it failed, and they replaced the battery also for free. There was no hassle at all with Ed, only honest and fair treatment. I could not be more impressed. Car dealers have a stigma about them and I always feel that I am being framed. I have had problems with Chapman service in the past where I was told something that was completely untrue, and I had the written proof to demonstrate it. I had to take my concerns to the general manager at that time. Also, Chapman in far from my home and, coupled with the problems with past service, I was very skeptical when coming into the dealership for service. Ed totally gave me a new and much improved impression of Chapman service. I believe that I will be treated with honesty when dealing with Ed and I will not hesitate to come back into Chapmsn for service as long as Ed is my Advisor. Thank you so much Ed! You restored my faith!! More
Took my 2010 Jetta Volkswagen in for service, was so impressed with my service advisor's friendliness. Ed Diamond was amazingly thorough and detailed in explaining service that would be performed. Had the car serviced on a Friday; but couldn't pick it up until the next day (Sat.) because of time needed to do the servicing. While Larry was off on Saturday, he made sure we went over the cost of repairs until the next day (Sat.) because of time needed to do the servicing. While Larry was off on Saturday, he made sure we went over the cost of repairs on late Friday, and had the car washed and ready to go on Saturday morning when I arrived. I appreciated being furnished a rental car on Friday so I didn't have to spend the entire day sitting in the customer lounge, as nice as it is! Larry is a great person to work with! More
Everyone was very nice and super helpful...plus they serviced my car quicker than anticipated. I would definitely advise people to go to Chapman with service issues. Nate was great. Showed me exactly what I wanted and for the price it was perfect. I will recommend anyone to him that wants TDI because he knows what he is talking about when it comes to the gas milage. the price it was perfect. Both George T. and Ronnie were great, they both were very informative, and kind. They knew my needs and what I wanted and worked very hard to make that happen.
