Chapman service was exceptional! I have a new F-150 that I’ve completed all service at Chapman even though I bought it at a different dealer. What I appreciate is their clear communication and positive experience delivered when I arrive. In addition, if they make a mistake—-they fix it. I would like to give a Big Texas Shout out to Tim Beal, service Advisor and Richard Sutton,Transmission Tech. These two individuals were so helpful in getting my wife and i back on the road. Two stranded strangers from N Central Texas with transmission problems and on a tight schedule. Tim ordering parts to be on hand at our arrival and keeping us informed. Richard making the correct diagnosis of the problem and busting his rear finishing the car in front of us so we could be attended too. (Teamwork) The professional staff at Chapman Ford just can't be beat. While waiting for repairs to be made,our visit with Milton Ward, David Kohler was most enjoyable. So far - horrible service. Truck sent in for warranty work, truck is still in shop, picked up once and drove not less than a mile and gas spewing from engine with check engine light on (originally went i work, truck is still in shop, picked up once and drove not less than a mile and gas spewing from engine with check engine light on (originally went in for a "see owners manual wrench light: which the ford manual says is powertrain and electronic throttle body issue, then I'm told the next day its good to go, drive again not less than a mile and service engine light(original issue) comes on again. Now I'm being told that maybe changing out spark plugs will help, that was yesterday morning. I had to call Chapman back to get an update at 430pm to which I was told they are still swapping out plugs. I know changing spark plugs doesn't take 8hrs of labor. So here we are today, no call, no return call, still no word if work was done yesterday. I have the stolen vehicle tracker on my truck so I can see when it is started, stops, driven, how fast, etc... I just want my vehicle back and I know since its warranty work, there is no money to be made for the mechanics, so this is why I get xxxx service. Left a message for Ed (Srvc Mgr) today. Checked out my truck vehicle GPS data and nothing has been done so far., More
