A dealership with class I bought my Ford C-Max Energy from Earnhardt Ford in early 2014. After rejecting a zillion of useless add-ons and extra warranties, the seller got me I bought my Ford C-Max Energy from Earnhardt Ford in early 2014. After rejecting a zillion of useless add-ons and extra warranties, the seller got me to buy a D-Fence GPS system for over $200. I thought it might be a good idea because I often forget where I park my car. But I was not told that this service required a subscription after the initial free months. Worse, I was not told that the installation required disabling the DLC connector used for emission testing. For the above reason my car did not pass the emission test this month. I went to Chapman Ford and explained to me what had happened. Not onlyt that, but they fixed the issue at no charge (and in less than 30 minutes!) even though my warranty had already expired. Bottom line: if the car sales division is as good and honest as the service division, your next Ford should be from Chapman. More

Parts replaces, not mechanics or service providers Had my 2012 Expedition in for a key issue, $690 later I have a new shifter. I asked for the parts to be saved and they were, however the service tech told me the gears were worn out. When I got the parts home discovered the park sensor which was held in by two plastic clips was knocked out of place. Snapped back in, and it is once agin very secure. Jim the service manager said replacing the part was the standard option. Gears out of place, ha, standard to replace all parts instead of diagnose and recommend options? Ha Very, very disappointed and will not go to Chapman again. I guess you have to pay for the new dealership location somehow....but not at my ex-expense any longer. More

Disappointed doesn't begin to describe my last 4 visits but yesterday's experience ensures that I will never be back to Chapman. I arrived at the Quick Lane for an oil change and tire rotation which is called "the works" . I was there 2.5 hours and during that time, I also agreed to have the brake fluid serviced and the vehicle aligned. During my wait, I was also told that I needed an $1100 repair but it "wasn't critical today". Something called a "front cover". I declined. Upon check out, I was informed that they did not have the right filter in stock for my vehicle, so I was not charged for that. How nice! My invoice came to $281.06 for the work that I had agreed to. Imagine my complete and total irritation when, this morning, the "low tire pressure" light came on. Obviously, my tire pressure had NOT been check which make me wonder if the tires had actually been rotated. The invoice states "tires rotated and pressure set to manufacturers specifications." NOT. I'm going back this afternoon to at least have the tires inflated. I'm curious to hear what the explanation might be. I can't go back to Chapman anymore. Nobody seems to care and paying for the new dealership seems to be the most important task for the staff. More
