This is a review of the Chapman Ford Collision shop in Pleasantville NJ would give zero stars if possible - still don't have my car as of today (10/14). Whatever you do - don't use them or let your insurance select them. Accident occurred on 6/11/21 and I still don't have my car or any date of when available. Understand the original delay for the backordered part but that part arrived in mid August. When Robert Heady would communicate on the Yukon, it was always vague and non-descript. I have now lost confidence in the quality of the work particularly the lack of real communication (literally 30+ yrs of giving excuses - he is good). The lack of any specific communication throughout the process is what is mind-numbing!! AVOID AVOID AVOID update 2 - Appreciate the dealer reaching out to speak but I wish to have a detailed review of what has been done on my car, what is left to do, and most importantly - a commitment to when (an actual firm date) I will get it back. Even my insurance company AAA was frustrated yesterday with the lack of clarity and the long list of excuses when they spoke with the collision shop - literally the place seems like a black hole for cars - from a business perspective it literally makes no sense. Again AVOID AVOID AVOID update 3 - let's talk after you find out what is going on with my car - frankly don't have much to say beyond what I have posted here - the lack of clarity, information, etc is on the Chapman side. update 4 - it is 1pm on Monday 10/18/21 and have yet to receive an update despite speaking to a manager of a manager More

They charged me for a part that doesn't fit my 🚚 Took our F2 250 for service told needed fuel pump ran about $1,000 okay on the bill it said they placed a relay 2 days after service exact same proble Took our F2 250 for service told needed fuel pump ran about $1,000 okay on the bill it said they placed a relay 2 days after service exact same problem occurred took back they did what they called an exploratory. Said. The heater box had a leak on to the new fuel pump and they would silicone it and put back and charged us another $650. We had all the exact same problems as before they touched it. It would just die in its tracks on the highway 15 min later it would start. We were trying to get home to Fl. Towing our Rv as Ira just hit. We were say their mercy. If you don't have training to fix something admit it and refer customer to another facility.Don't put someone's life in their hands took to another Ford dealer within 15 minutes they told us our problem was a. Fuel pump relay told them we had a fuel pump and relay install they said impossible the relay in your truck is unserviceable the entire fuse panel would have to be removed and it would be approximately another thousand dollars so Chapman Ford never installed a relay and put our Lives In Harm's Way as the situation did not resolve itself and we were Towing an RV and the truck would just die so check your receipts everyone I first spoke to the service mgr after the new dealership gave us the news . I said you charged us and never installed a relay, you couldn't. He said ill give you the $ back we charged for the part. I said u owe us a lot more than that.I spoke to the owner recently he was willing to give me a $300 refund of which I replied back it was not an amicable settlement as we should never have incurred the $600 additional fee the next day for nothing . we have always used a Ford dealership because we felt we had Trained techs . well guess what. Had Chapman Fords. Techs used the computer with my vin # they would have known the relay was unservicable. How can u charge for something and not do. I think there is a word for that. More
Buyer Beware!!! Search You'll get a BETTER PRICE I saw a car on Chapman site that was at their Horsham location. Price stated $1000 trade assistance, this dealer WOULD NOT HONOR told me it is a diffe I saw a car on Chapman site that was at their Horsham location. Price stated $1000 trade assistance, this dealer WOULD NOT HONOR told me it is a different dealer even though same name part of extended inventory online, total xx. Even worse sent TWO emails to the owner never got courtesy of a response. If the owner doesn't car why should his employees. I was ready to buy had someone just shown integrity and some level of customer service. My RECOMMENDATION is BUY IT FROM THEIR HORSHAM LOCATION AND SAVE $1000!!!!! Or BUY A DIFFERENT BRAND!! I have owned twelve Fords in my life but no more. More
Trade In Pricing A Joke My wife and I went to possibly trade our Nissan Rogue in on a 2017 Mazda CX-5. We figured we would be a little upside down on the trade, considering t My wife and I went to possibly trade our Nissan Rogue in on a 2017 Mazda CX-5. We figured we would be a little upside down on the trade, considering this is a car dealership. So they come back and offered us literally half of what kbb, and nada said our car's trade in value was. I laughed so hard I fell out of the chair. Then the guy comes back with a manager and ups the trade in by two grand, and says if we do a lease on a CX-5, it will only be $560 a month because we are upside down!!!!!!!!!! I used to be in the buisness, I get the holding back on trades, but this is absurd! For a Mazda not a Ferrari over $500 on a lease! And a CX-5 sport, the bottom tier of options.......We immediately left and are just going to keep our car. Mind you our car doesn't even have a scratch on it, and is a 10 out of 10 for condition with under 50k miles. Never again. What a waste of time. And the Mazda "showroom" isn't a showroom, its a lobby area with cubicles and people standing around doing nothing. We waited at least 10 mins to even be spoken too and there were no other customers!!!!! Not even offered a beverage! Awful! More
