The beginning of the Chapman Auto Group dates back to the mid-1930’s when Roy V. Chapman Sr. started selling used vehicles from his gas and oil station. Roy V. Chapman Jr. (current retired chairman of the Chapman Auto Group),served in the Navy and fought in World War ll. When he retired from active duty, Mr. Chapman went to work at his father’s station from 1945 to 1949. Roy V. Chapman Jr. went to work for John B. White Ford at 6600 N. Broad Street in Philadelphia, PA in 1949 as a sales person. In 1962, Mr. Chapman became the owner of John B. White Ford, until 1973 when he closed the dealership and moved to its present location (Chapman Ford Sales Inc.), at 9371 Roosevelt Blvd., Philadelphia PA. In 1978, Mr. Chapman purchased his 2nd dealership, Chapman Ford/Lincoln/Mercury in Springfield, PA. Nobody likes having to go for service on their car. But you have to... so you may as well go somewhere that you enjoy visiting! Chapman is one of those places. My service reps are also my friends. They don't take advantage of me, they give it to me straight and they work with me when I need it. On top of that, they technicians are top notch. No grease xxxxxxx wrenching on my Lincoln. When they say it's fix, I believe them. Problems happen... cars break... but I have never had to go back over and over for the same issue -- not once. More

Please check other dealerships when getting prices. I saved over four hundred dollars on a $1,300.00 job Chapman charges $170 per hour labor. Saved 35 dollars an hour on labor alone and they charge 30 I saved over four hundred dollars on a $1,300.00 job Chapman charges $170 per hour labor. Saved 35 dollars an hour on labor alone and they charge 30 percent higher for parts and a diagnostic. I was a customer there for 13 years and will never go back. The service manager (Rob) was going to call me right back after my concerns were brought to his attention, still waiting. Go elsewhere Chapman is not trustworthy. More

Everything was great from start to finish. Carrie, Lauren and Kelly were who we worked with and each of them were awesome. Our experience was smooth each step of the way, When we arrived every Carrie, Lauren and Kelly were who we worked with and each of them were awesome.
