We bought our Dodge Charger R/T from Chapman Dodge in Feb 2007. Anytime we needed to bring our Charger in for routine maintenance or for a specific problem we call Dave Flores to schedule an appointment. Da 2007. We contacted Nick Major (our Service Advisor) to ask about a recall notice and set up appointments for both of our Jeeps to have the Periodic Service completed. Nick indicated that he would not be avai about a recall notice and set up appointments for both of our Jeeps to have the Periodic Service completed. Nick indicated that he would not be available at the time we wanted the service completed and recommended we work with David Flores in his absence. We are very glad we did! I am not sure where Chapman finds these guys, but they seem to be the only Jeep dealer in town that has an EXCELLENT service department. We found them after a couple of very bad experiences with the service department where we bought our Jeeps (That dealership even locked one of our Jeeps up overnight without any notification, and would not release it to us because the service department had "closed") On our last trip to Chapman, David called us to ensure we knew that the service department closed at noon, and asked us if we would be back by then, or if he should leave the keys in an envelope with the receptionist. That may seem like a small thing to some, but after your Jeep has been "Held Hostage" by a dealership, it is a very big deal! Nick and David are going to have loyal customers as long as long as they work for Chapman! They have proven to really care about our Jeeps, and try to make recommendations that will help us. Another example: Once when we were getting ready to schedule a service on the differentials, Nick let us know that the 4x4 services would be on sale the following week so we could schedule them during that time and save quite a bit of money. Ernie and Roger in the Parts Department are also excellent to work with! They will always go the extra mile to help. Even offer to deliver a special order part to you on their "way home", or search through boxes at the end of the day to help you find the perfect gift item for her Jeep. These are only a few examples of some of the wonderful people at Chapman Dodge Chrysler Jeep, but I am sure there are many more to come! More
I have been to Chapman two times since the transition across the street. My experience has been positive both times. While I am never thrilled to have an expensive repair or maintenance come along, I i across the street. My experience has been positive both times. Your service advisor Dave Flores is great. He always greets us with a smile and genuine hello. It has been a while since we needed service and Dave remembered that my wife had been on her way to Iraq. greets us with a smile and genuine hello. Your dealership is not the closest, but we will always use you because of the top quality service we receive. We are treated like people, not just a number. You have earned a loyal customer and we will be repeat customers when we are ready to purchase another vehicle or have our vehicle serviced. More
Overall, i noticed that your dealership has embarked on a great effort to improve service, and as a customer, i noticed it and internalised it. Your pricing has become very competitive and leaves me no reason to look for alternatives. When all else is equal (pricing wise) i would always prefer to give you my service business as opposed to a non Jeep branded auto services center. My only "sour" experiences have been related to the following: in the past year, i had to come back for the same problem 2-3 times. This was a result of either poor diagnosis or the mechanic not doing what they were supposed to. in one of my recent visits, i had to wait on a saturday, about 5 hours for a my car to undergo a simple oil/lube replacement and tire rotataion. When i had a problem with my car's security alarm, no one had a clue how to help me or how to advise me. The solution was simple and the AAA guy who came to help me resolved the problem in 1 second. In spite of these occurances, i don't want this feedback to go back to my service reps. I work with David Colewell and David Flores, and both are very good and i am happy with them. I have a feeling that all these problems might have been "one offs" and that the service will only continue to get better. Evidence of this is my most recent visit which went flawlessly and quickly and with great service and friendliness by Mr. Colewell. Also, i must compliment Tina the Service Manager. I left her a VM expressing my frustration with one of the above described incidences, and while we played phone tag and did not speak, i did receive a $25 coupon card by mail from her for my next service at your dealership. I was deeply impressed by this gesture and it won my respect and loyalty as your customer. Keep up your great effort and service orientation, things are looking up! :) More
Came up here after having a bad experience with BMW of Tucson. My experience with Chapman was completely opposite of what I had in Tucson. They were very nice to deal with, very friendly and knowledgeable Tucson. My experience with Chapman was completely opposite of what I had in Tucson. They were very nice to deal with, very friendly and knowledgeable. I ended up getting a MUCH better deal than what I was ever given in Tucson, about $4500 more! I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone in Tucson looking to buy a BMW. It'w well worth the hour drive up to Scottsdale! More

I had visited a few other dealers that day and was greatly displeased at the level of service and annoyance I received at the locations. It all cleared up when dealing with this dealership. It was a pleasureable experience to receive patient good natured assistance when asking questions and evaluating their cars. Without any pressure I was able to evaluate their vehicle and when it came time to pricing he pulled figures that were very fair in respect to the invoice and not the MSRP. I went on to visit other dealers, but finally bought BMW a few days later. I would recommend that you ask for Alan if you are even remotely interested in BMW. More
Just had a rather unsavory experience with Chapman BMW in Scottsdale. I took my X5 in for service 2 days ago. One of the items I asked to be investigated was not checked. I was asked if I could bring it in t Scottsdale. I took my X5 in for service 2 days ago. One of the items I asked to be investigated was not checked. I was asked if I could bring it in today - at this point I believed that I had been scheduled for service. So I bring it in today and the service people aren't expecting me. The guy who greets me checks a bunch of names on a whiteboard and my name isn't there. But they take my car anyway. It takes another 20-30 minutes for me to get a loaner (actually a Kia from the on-site Enterprise rental). Since it's close to the end of the day I decide to check up on the status of the car. They say the work might run into tomorrow. I start asking why that would be, since I had been scheduled for service 2 days ago. At this point the service person starts getting a little defensive. I am told that it doesn't matter that I had it scheduled, cars are worked on a first-come-first-served basis. I am told things like, "What do you want me to do?" and "It's not like microwave popcorn, you know." The repair isn't done yet and the service department's closed, so it looks like I'll have the Kia another day. Did I mention that I bought the X5 less than a week ago? Since they haven't actually fixed my car yet, I am unable to comment on the quality of their service, however other observations of Chapman BMW from this experience are: It appears that if you're the first in line, your car will get looked at first. Scheduling service ahead of time may not mean a thing. Also, some people at Chapman BMW may treat you as if you are a whining idiot. More
I have always gotten good service but todays experience coupled with a previous service call on the same parts and two rotton experiences with their body shop has turned me around completely.
The window coupled with a previous service call on the same parts and two rotton experiences with their body shop has turned me around completely.
The window regulators on the 3 series sedans are bad, I have had them replace 4 of them in three years and two of those took a fight and resulted in a service coordinator being rude to my wife last year.
I love their sales department and the service department is great as long as you have your credit card out and are ready to pay, but if you have an issue then it seems that you have a problem. Shopped both VW and BMW there on several occasions. Situations dictated no deals, but the fact I return to give them the chance says a lot. The sales staff are always friendly and usually knowledgable. Situations dictated no deals, but the fact I return to give them the chance says a lot.
