Unfortunately the actual truth about this particular situation is that Chapman Dodge would be more than happy to perform the repairs on this vehicle but are only authorized to perform warranty repairs that are approved by the manufacture. At a dealer level, Chapman facilitated the inspection by the manufacture and paid for the customer's rental car while the decision was being made by the manufacture even though this was not our responsibility. While I understand the customer's frustration and desire to want to place blame on Chapman the decision strictly lies with the manufacture. I assure you, Customer Satisfaction is number one in the Chapman Family.
