In my quest to find a good used Dodge Ram 1500, I went to (literally) 20+ dealers and finally as a last ditch effort, stopped by this dealer on our way to dinner. They had a good selection and great quality, (literally) 20+ dealers and finally as a last ditch effort, stopped by this dealer on our way to dinner. They had a good selection and great quality, much better than the other dealers we went to. I had high hopes for the Bill Luke dodge dealership but found the selection of used trucks sparse, over priced and the sales people were pushy and arrogant. I even went to places having a "used car blowout event" that had maybe 2 or 3 used cars on the lot. Our sales Consultant Samantha Smith was very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. She stayed 2+ hours after closing time to help us. I also liked the hustle she had in keeping the process going. They were able to give me much more for my trade-in than I had expected which was really nice. I appreciate how none of the people at Chapman tried to waste our time like other dealers did. For example other dealers would push paperwork in my face before even showing me the trucks in stock (which turned out to be a joke as they would have nothing). This was the most pleasant experience I have ever had at a car dealership. Going to Chapman has restored my faith in humanity. Well done Chapman Dodge Chrysler Jeep More
I want to start this caveat with saying that, in the past, my experiences with Chapman Dodge usually rank higher. They are my regular place, and I usually give their service department high marks. But h past, my experiences with Chapman Dodge usually rank higher. They are my regular place, and I usually give their service department high marks. But here was my experience yesterday: I'd just reached my next mileage check-up threshold and my car had started flashing 'change oil' at me, so I decided to schedule a time to go in and get an oil change. I called up yesterday morning and asked what time their service department closed, and was told 6:30. I then asked if I could get an oil change (and the other check-up inspection things) at around 4:30, and was told that their service techs go home at 5, and so they usually refuse oil changes at 4, because they tend to take an hour. THAT SAID, I asked if they could make an exception for me, and they did. This was good! So, around 4:30 I pull in, and go through the process of getting things taken care of. I sign an invoice and they take the car off. Standard operating procedure. No problems here. I did mention that, the last time I was there, it was mentioned to me that my windshield wipers had needed replacement but they hadn't had the parts, so I asked if they could do it then. "No problem," was the answer. Then around 5, someone comes up saying "Okay, it's done. We're going to put it through the wash now." I ask him if the wipers happened, and he said he didn't see it on the sheet, so he ran back to see if it was going to be taken care of. Eventually, he said it was. So, to the cashier I go. The cashier is in a room filled with various accoutrements for automobiles (a heat shield for a window, etc.) I decided to buy a couple of these, and so grab them (impulse buys) and go up to the cashier, saying, "hey, I'd like these things." The cashier says, "Oh, I'm sorry, you'll need an invoice first" and sends me to another counter, where it takes quite some time to generate an invoice, which I then need to bring back to the cashier. This convoluted process makes it very unlikely for me to ever make an impulse buy from Chapman again while I'm getting service. After I get to the cashier with my invoice(s), she takes a look at an invoice for my service, and quotes me $30. Then when she prints out the invoice, it says $50. Apparently, they added the two windshield wipers at the last moment, which required me to have yet another transaction on my credit card. (Three total: one for the delayed-impulse buys, one for the $30, and another for the difference between the $30 and the $20). Then, I'm told my car is being washed and should be pulled around shortly. Fifteen minutes outside later, I check with the cashier, and am being told that valet is aware of this and it should be 'around four minutes.' Ten minutes later, I check in with her again, and she pages a supervisor of some sort, and he tells me he just saw the car being pulled around. We wait, and after a few beats he says he's going to go in the back and get it. Eventually, he pulls around with my car. For a service department that I otherwise have good experiences with, I was very disappointed last night. More
Great guys to work with! They worked with my busy schedule and communicated well and often throughout the purchase process. The Avalanche is a great vehicle that i have wanted for some time now. Josh Reeves was the was the best car buying experience I have ever had. I had looked on line before I arrived and had a few cars in mind to look at. Josh Reeves was the salesman that helped me, he was very friendly , knowledgeable and professional. He showed me all of my options within my price range, He gave me a tour of the cars I was interested in inside and out. Once we found the car for me purchasing, financing and driving away was a breeze. After working with Josh I would recommend Chapman Dodge to anyone purchasing a vehicle. More

Buyer Beware!! Demand disclosure from these people. I am still making payments on the car I traded, while it sits on their lot for sale, because they haven't paid it off. They bought my car for $12,000. Th still making payments on the car I traded, while it sits on their lot for sale, because they haven't paid it off. They bought my car for $12,000. I took my my 2008 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon (approx. 30k miles on it), to Chapman because the front passenger universal joint needed replacing. Because I am still within the 3 year warranty period, they rep miles on it), to Chapman because the front passenger universal joint needed replacing. Because I am still within the 3 year warranty period, they replaced it at no cost. Two weeks later I drove about 25 miles down a dirt road, and the same part broke again, this time causing extensive damage to my front driveline. I took it back and my service adviser said that he sometimes gets faulty parts from Chrysler and that the u-joint must have failed, causing more damage to the front axle. They changed their tune the next day and said the warranty wouldn't cover it. Won't give me a reason....just "won't cover it." I spoke to the general manager who told me that he does not have any say in warranty decisions and to call Chrysler's corporate number to escalate or appeal the decision. When I called corporate, I was told by that the dealer makes those decisions, corporate has nothing to do with it, and that I would have to speak to the dealer directly about appealing or escalating this issue. Now I will apparently have to hire an attorney, because I can't even get Chapman to tell me why they won't warranty it! This has been a nightmare and I don't see them making ANY effort to resolve the issue. Simply "We won't warranty it." Good luck if you have any issues...especially if you buy a Jeep and drive it on a dirt road! It will void your warranty... More
