To top it off, My Ram sat in their shop for one month while they waited for a part, and I was without a truck. They refused to offer a loaner car. To top it off, they then charged me too much. I'll never go back. I'll never buy another Ram. Negative stars would be too good for these guys. More
Worst Chapman Jeep Dealership in Phoenix. Been trying to schedule a service appointment and have been told I will be called back, never to be called back. It’s been months trying to get a service appointment. I showed up for a previous service appointment once and was told the parts weren’t in stock upon arrival as i was told they would be. And no, I did not get the text I was sent from the service advisor ten minutes ago, I was driving to my appointment…what a waste of time and lack of communication. They still didn’t reach out when the parts were in stock after that, after months I decided I had to keep calling to find out. Front desk staff isn’t eager to give options of what they can do to help you out unless you press them on it. It’s a very “oh we do tire rotations upon request” not “we can do that for you if you’d like since you’ve shown interest?” Another thing to the list, I witnessed another customer ask for help while waiting to check in their vehicle, when the young man working reluctantly goes “yeah, i guess i can help him.” when the manager asks him to work. The customer’s response, “I don’t want to force you to help me.” Felt very crappy when I was helped as white woman and this black man gets treated like this infront of me. Hurt my heart for him. Crazy how “business” is conducted here. These aren’t cheap vehicles or services, treat your customers with some sort of common decency. Coach your employees how to behave infront of and to, ALL paying clients. I’ve met kids in retail with more manners and common decency than the service advisors here. I highly recommend the Jeep dealership on Bell Road in Peoria, or Tempe Jeep. Oil changes take about 1-2 hours, where at Scottsdale it will take 4-6 hours. I’m not even joking. They actually order the parts you need and put your name on them the very first time you call, so when you show up they are prepared for you as expected. Scottsdale needs to get their xxxx together. I thought Scottsdale was supposed to be a nicer town, definitely never going back. More
I recently had a service nightmare, the dreaded “Check Engine Light” and I’m about to begin a massive roadtrip that’ll take me to very rural places. Well, Gary Cluff saved me. Purely and simply, he’s a Engine Light” and I’m about to begin a massive roadtrip that’ll take me to very rural places. Well, Gary Cluff saved me. Purely and simply, he’s a saint for immediately helping me. He was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful with my issue. He addressed all of my needs and more, he solved the issue right away, and he saved the day and single handedly saved my trip. I know that dealerships can get a lot of rough reviews, but Chapman treated me respectfully, quickly, and solved all of my needs. Thank you to Gary Cluff, again, an incredible man and the perfect gentleman in the service department to solve anything and address you professionally and courteously. Thank you for being you, Gary Cluff!! More
Misleading? Dishonest? Disrespectful? I've chosen not to continue pursuing a business transaction with a company that seemingly may be disrespecting customers Dishonest? Disrespectful? I've chosen not to continue pursuing a business transaction with a company that seemingly may be disrespecting customers by conducting business practices that could be misleading and dishonest. On Memorial Day (up to approximately 5:00pm) I had been sharing text messages and emails with a salesperson regarding the availability and purchase price of a certain vehicle. The salesperson confirmed that the vehicle was on the lot available for purchase (I'm a cash buyer). The next morning (75-minute drive) I arrive at the Chapman dealership near 9:00 am to at least test drive the salespersons confirmed available vehicle. After failing to locate the vehicle on the lot, I asked for assistance to locate it. Roughly 10 minutes later, I'm informed that a "sales manager says the vehicle had been sent to auction." More
RUN, RUN, & KEEP RUNNING! ! Had the WORST experience at this dealership that OVERCHARGES and is RUDE to its customers. 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee was in for AC Evaporator rep ! Had the WORST experience at this dealership that OVERCHARGES and is RUDE to its customers. 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee was in for AC Evaporator repair. Pushed back on the quote received and it magically dropped by $500. Vehicle had full diagnostics run and I took the dealership up on all additional optional services. In total it was thousands of dollars for the repairs. Within 10 days the battery died, which is strange since full diagnostics were run on the Jeep. Took the vehicle back to the dealership and had the battery replaced. Was charged ~$600 for the repair. Knew I over payed but was in a bind so let it be. Not even 24 hours later the battery light came on, vehicle was not drive-able, and had to be towed back to the dealership. Had to contact the dealership several times to get ahold of them and was hung up on once. Service missed a melted hose during the battery replacement, and acted like they were doing me a favor by waiving the fee for a 10 minute replacement job. Also said the issue was rare, which is clearly not the case as this happened to another customer (per a Google review) within the past month. Not even a partial refund was offered for the overpriced battery that didn’t even operate for 24 hours. Nor for the tow. After complaining about this terrible service, they tried to offer me a discount for a future service, which I did not accept, as I’d rather go to a dealership with ethical practices that will do the job right the first time. Do yourself a favor and save some time and emotional energy by going LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE!!! Have received better service at sketchy body shops than Chapman Chrysler. More
Absolutely robbed me on a 2020 rubicon. Supposedly “certified” yet they snuck in $3120 mopar svc contract not to mention 1500 over asking price. My fault? You bet. Having a friendly conversation with the finance guy during paperwork absolutely a mistake. And speaking of certified it doesn’t even have rubicon shocks in front and the transmission whines like xxxx in reverse. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to this place. Beware. More

I chose Clay based on positive reviews and my belief that those who treat others well should earn more business. We communicated via email initially, but due to the dealership's request to see my trade, my husband, our 4-year-old, and I made a 30-minute drive to meet Clay in person. Upon arrival, we spoke, test drove a grey Jeep Gladiator, and discussed the trade. Despite earlier claims that seeing the trade would yield a better offer, Clay didn't disclose the trade amount and him and Josh- the finance manager said we should run credit. We proceeded to a credit application, where Joshusa Salter, the Finance Manager, claimed approval only with Chrysler FS, requiring a $12k down payment. Issues arose when discrepancies in credit reports were cited as reasons for the down payment. Despite my locked credit, the Finance Manager inspected my Experian report on my phone. Promised follow-ups were inconsistent, with Clay and Josh not responding promptly. Attempts to obtain trade-in details and financing information were met with delays and evasiveness. Josh claimed the buyer at Chrysler FS said he only saw my current auto loans on my two reports and not my Mercedes loan which was paid longer. He also said that the buyer did not want to cover my entire loan because he did not see my Mercedes loan which had a longer payment history...I thought that was strange because it shows on my end.. So I told him well it's showing on my Experian. This report was locked. He looked on my phone and said he see's the Mercedes loan and had me unlock it in Clay's office. He said because it was late he would try me tomorrow with a credit union. We left, and I was in hope that next day they would follow up and tell me some good news.. That night I emailed Clay again and said, hey what about having Josh send the buyer my Experian report to see if he would approve the entire loan since my Mercedes loan was on there. Clay said they would catch up with me the next day.. That's where the lack of communication comes in.. Clay and Josh started avoiding me and stopped communicating. I then sent emails to the sales manager, Wyatt Chatburn, and the Customer First Advocate, Tasia Lewis, yielded no responses. If the two people you tried to trust won't communication then I felt these other two would.. but now they are also avoiding me. This experience, marked by poor communication, lack of transparency, and unprofessionalism, led to dissatisfaction with the dealership's practices. From my experience advises caution and discourages others from dealing with them. This dealership is a Joke. I also emailed them and told them by law they were sapost to give me my consumer statement with me and my husband credit score as we did not receive this document nor sign it in there dealership and Josh told me that's something we can't get. I found that odd, so I ask Clay, and he sent it.. This dealership is very sneaky. I read other complaints about them taking cars back from people and them charging them a lot of money for a down payment. I keep emailing them asking how much my trade was.. Now I also found out Mr. Josh use to work for VW and that's the same brand I was trading. I should have known they were going to low ball my trade.. Literally 6k less than all the rest of the Jeep dealerships I have reached out too. And that amount was on them not seeing my trade but Chapman did and they gave me 6k less than everyone else. I would stay away from them. They are very dishonest and unprofessional. I don't know how they get good ratings or do business. It was dead when we stopped in.. A bunch of sales people standing around not doing anything.. How can you have a person come into your dealership, test drive a car then run credit and treat you this way and you avoid them.. More
Bought service plan, never have loaner car, never a rental, called multiple times to schedule to make sure things run smoothly, it never does. Slow painful process where they always blame others.
