Service Department Nightmare! I had a 7:00 AM appointment to turn my car in for two (2) recall issues and pick up a pre-arranged loaner car. I was in line and waiting at 6:45 AM an I had a 7:00 AM appointment to turn my car in for two (2) recall issues and pick up a pre-arranged loaner car. I was in line and waiting at 6:45 AM and by 7:15 my car was turned in and it was determined that the young lady that does the loaner cars called in sick. I was then told to sign up for the shuttle van to get a ride to work. This was unacceptable! As soon as the "Loaner Car Girl" did not show up for work for my 7:00 AM pre-arranged loaner car, someone else should have given me a loaner car or someone at Chapman should have taken me to work. At 8:15 AM, I was finally in a loaner car and on my way to work. I arrived to work an hour late. Again, this was unacceptable. The owner of Chapman Chevrolet and the Service Manager need to fix this problem in their procedures. Since I moved to Tempe, I have used your Quick Lube Service and they are outstanding!!!!! You might want to move some of that staff down to your service department!!!! More
Excellent Service We leased our Chevy Volt from Chapman 3 years ago and have always gone to Chapman for any service and/or vehicle updates that needed to be done. They have always been fast and friendly, supplying a loaner whenever I needed one and completing any and all work quickly. So they have always been great, but last week they were exceptional! As my wife was leaving for work one morning she was putting the window up and the mechanism that makes the window go up and down broke causing the window to drop down inside the door. Instead of making an appointment, I immediately took the car to Chapman. When I pulled up, the Service Manager, Doug Bonkowski immediately greeted me and began the check in process to get it fixed. No xx about needing an appointment or making me wait "Until someone got a chance to look at it". He then turned me and the paperwork over to the Service Consultant Tyler Weindorf. Tyler told me he would give me a call as soon as they could tell me what was wrong and how long they would need to keep the car. That same afternoon Tyler called to tell me they had to order the part and would be able to do the repair the next morning. He then ASKED me if they could keep the car overnight or did I need to come get it and bring it back. (That was extremely considerate on his part! He did not TELL me I had to leave it there or just assume I would.... He asked! Very cool!!) I told him to keep it and call me when it was ready. He called about 10 a.m. the next day and said it was ready to pick up, fixed, washed and ready to go. The only minor problem we had was after my wife picked up the car and took it to work, the door would lock. I immediately took it back and told Doug about the problem. He called a service tech who instantly came and got the car and fixed it in less than 10 minutes. Awesome service guys! Keep up the great work! This is just one of the reasons why we're going to get our next Chevy Volt from Chapman as soon as the new ones come out in November! More

Though they were unable to help for repair costs they presented me two options. I took one of the options and traded in the car I just had bought for a newer.less miles Chevrolet Impala. I worked with Melissa in the Service Dept., Jennifer as my Sales Rep and Wayne as my Financing Rep...each were pleasant and wanting to do all they could do to help me as each knew the importance of my having a reliable vehicle due to my job. Yesterday my new deal was finalized. I believe those I worked with went above and beyond what one should realistically expect. I would highly recommend this dealership to others. More
Scammers I went in to maybe buy a 2nd vehicle. I found one I liked, a 2015 Equinox. My credit was shaky, and they assured me it was OK. I was there for a few h I went in to maybe buy a 2nd vehicle. I found one I liked, a 2015 Equinox. My credit was shaky, and they assured me it was OK. I was there for a few hours, and all they could come up with was that I cold buy 2 cars, at about $330 MORE PER MONTH, I said no. But then, my keys disappeared. I finally told them to come up with my keys, or I was calling the cops. They suddenly found them, in the back of a drawer. WTH? They tried to scam me. I walked out, and went to Midway Chevy. Got a great new car, and great deal, and still had my keys. Never go to this scam shop More

I will say we did have to negotiate for a awhile but they eventually met us where we wanted to be. They took the time to find extra rebates and promotions to get us the best deal we could. I hate car haggling back and forth but they pretty much cut to the chase unlike other dealerships I've dealt with . And by the way if you ever need a quick free snack they have unlimited popcorn I'm on my 4th bag . I'll be back chapman Chevy! More
