I started negotiating with them and manage to have the manager drop $500 from the absurd $2000 dealers fees from the initial quote. Working directly until yesterday, wasting my time and effort This morning gave the ok to purchase and the dealership just to save $500 decided to sell the car without even an advice. After I sent all my information and did all arrangements, I was informed of the sale This dealership should not be allowed to perform its business practices in this fashion I expected as a decency and respect for an advice of the potential sale. The dealership’s practices are shady and doubtful in combination with the manager and salesman. I have come to expect more from BMW I drive 2 BMWs - 530 and x7 and in addition have owned many ones. I have never expected they could fall so low. Before purchasing make sure and find out what you are getting into. The initial quote provided came with a $2000 surcharge and the second one with a $1500. This made me doubtful about what I was getting into as I had never encountered these over inflated dealership fees. Customary, I have seen anything between $600-800 in dealership fees, but nothing over $1000.less $2000. Finally at $1500, I swallowed my pride and accepted the offer to realize that the car was sold at a higher price and I was not even taken into consideration or given the opportunity. I got email and text of the exact estimate and the option to pay online before I picked up to make my pick seamless. I will continue to drive out of my way to go here for service. I highly recommend. He addressed all my concerns and help me putting the car back in the condition I expected, being so professional. Curious thing is that just one day before I took my other vehicle to the AUDI dealership across the street and difference in service, huge! ! ! He just went above and beyond. No doubt he is The Pro to go next time my car needs to be serviced. Only thing I missed was a courtesy car wash but I got a car loaner so I won't really complaint about it. More
Very unprofessional and not trustworthy. In trying to purchase a $96K used vehicle, I got a run around and lied to. First lie was that they would match the competitor price for the trade in. After supplying the trade in offer, they came back and stated they could not meet it. Adam, the sales person, sent me their best offer with the trade in with the VTR and window tint taken off. We were still $2K different, so I decided to hold off on the purchase. Then couple of weeks later, I saw on their website the price of the vehicle was dropped $2K. Instead of the sales person contacting me, I had to contact them to agree to purchase the vehicle if previous trade in conditions were still good. What I got back was that they had to charge for the window tint because of the price decrease. They wanted to charge $499 for a window tint that was already done when the vehicle was sold as new. I was told by Adam that all their vehicle are sold with the window tint, including all new cars. I asked the window tint to be taken off since Chapman BMW sold the vehicle when it was new with the window tint. Adam tried to lie that they did not sell the car, but it was sold in California. I had to bring up that the CarFax shows it was sold by them and not a California dealer. When it was verified by Adam, he started by telling me two take it or leave it. There is nothing he can do because the sales manager will not lower the price. What's funny is that I am willing to pay the price they listed and the trade in offer they provided before. Trying to nickel and dime a customer and not being completely trustworthy basically turned me off on purchasing any vehicle from them. Also, I'm a repeat customer because the vehicle I want to trade in was purchased from them. More
I have purchased around 10 cars in the past in different dealerships and I have never had an experience like today. Andre, the sales person was very attentive and responsive, my problem was with the fina dealerships and I have never had an experience like today. Andre, the sales person was very attentive and responsive, my problem was with the finance department. The person I dealt with in Finance was extremely unprofessional and inappropriate. I understand the pressure tactics to try to add the maintenance plan and all the other extra items to the purchase, but you have to do it without crossing the line. I think this person thought I was a young college kid, but even if it was the case, it does not give him a reason to act the way he did. If I decline to add any of those items I don’t think it is very appropriate to keep calling my decision (or me) stupid, not smart, cheap, crazy or that (and I quote) I shouldn’t call his f@xxxxx phone to complain when I go to service the car there and I see the charges. The only reason why I stayed and finish the purchase was because my wife really wanted the car. We were leasing it and she wanted to keep it. In a different situation I would have just given it back and go somewhere else. I won’t service it there, I won’t buy a car there again, and I cannot recommend this dealership. More
