This is my first time going to CHAPMAN BMW, I just move here from NY. Here is my experiment. My sale man is very friendly and professional. We have some negotiation with the price, but overall, I'm satisfied with the price. Nonetheless, the service is not that great. My car need to get a touch up done, I purchased the car on Thursday and they told me that it should be ready to pick up by Tuesday's morning. My fiance and I went to pick it up at 10ish on Tuesday's Morning. After giving them my check for the car, they came back and inform me that it won't be ready for a pick up until around 4ish . Really?! No choice and we try to be understandable. After complete the paper work, we left and told them that we'll be back around 4:00pm to pick it up. At 3:30pm they called and told me the car was not ready until tomorrow morning. What ? What kind of game is this ? I told my saleman that I'm not happy with this. It is unacceptable. Nonetheless, there is nothing much I could do at this point, beside give them more time or demand my refund. So, I, once again, trying to be understanding and agree to pick up the car on Wednesday's morning. I called my saleman in the morning to schedule sometime to pick up, he text it me back (not sure if this is consider professional nowaday!), but since I don't have text on my phone anyway, I didn't received anything and decided to swing by at lunch. That when I found out that my car is just make it to detail folks and won't be ready until the afternoon. I mean, come'n, what kind of professionalism is this ? This is not the first time I bought new or used cars from dealer before and it is certainly not my first BMW. I had excellent experience with BMW, in general, that why I decided to get my next car as BMW as well. Anyway, back to the experience, my car got detailed and deliver on Wednesday's afternoon around 5pm. Though, I was informed that my car was detail, buff, and wax like a "showroom detail". I've notice that it is not that great of a job done. I'm not sure how it done here in AZ, but compare to NY, it have to come in 2nd or 3rd. I could have do a better job myself. But nevermind, at least it clean, and I tried to be an understanding customer. Ok, after this little mishap that I have with the purchasing. Not too long after that, I found out that my car paint job was really weird. I thought it was defected because the passenger side have a perfect orange peel effect while the driver side is flat and glossy, color is tidy bitty off, but not that noticeable.So, I swing by the service to ask questions and see what they could do for me. I got greeted by an service advisor; after looking at my car, she informed me that there is nothing she could do right now, I need to call "my " service advisor at CHAPMAN BMW to talk to the advisor and make an appointment to see what they can do. [Wow, I'm here already, could you just find "my" service advisor or someone I could talk to? Also, I just bought this car at this dealer and have not been service yet, how do I know who is my service advisor is ? ] I informed her that I'm not sure if I even have "my " service advisor here, since I just bought it here and have not been service. She was nice enough to look up the information and give me the name of "my " service advisor, Vin. So, I contacted him, after several messages to his direct line, I decided to called the service center directly to find out. My call went to another service advisor, I informed him the situation, this service advisor took my info and said that he make sure Vin would call me back. So, Vin did called me back while I was in the meeting at work, left me a voicemail telling me to take it to my saleman, since I just bought it. He is not aware of anything, but he is looking into the situation with the sale manager and will get back to me ASAP. I return his called ASAP as I received the voicemail, he didn't pick up, I left a message ask him to called me back to discussed the situation further. After 5 days have passed without any call from BMW, decided to call again and left the message. I also call my saleman, Jim. Jim informed me that service should have take care of any problem I have with my car after the sale, but asked me to come in so he could look at the problem anyway. FINALLY! In the end, I'm not here to complaint my little mishap, but I just want to justified why I give this dealer a rating above. We're talking about expensive car here, and I know BMW dealers strike to get 10s in all criteria. Yet, this is just bad. Compare my recent experiment, I had have way better service at Toyota and Jeep dealership. Perhap I should just ask for the refund when they keep delaying the pick up time. More
Jimmy was awesome. Extremely knowledgeable. We have been disappointed with the knowledge of audi of chandler for some time. Jimmy definitely met our expectations and was extremely knowledgeable. I have been missing that. After all, I should not be the ultimate expert on a brand of car. I believe the Dealership Employee should be. At chandler Audi, I always have to answer my own questions and the salesman there are simply equipped with a smile and a set of keys to take you for a test drive. They are lacking the knowledge I expect from a premium brand of car. Loving the Diesel so far. I feel as if we purchased a Sports Car rather than a mid size Luxury sedan last night. Thanks!! More
This is the sixth BMW that we have leased from Rich. We enjoy working with Rich because he understands the car and is very professional in answering our questions without exerting any pressure to buy. He also takes the time to explain "how everything works" and does a grest job of setting up the car!!! We just wish that in 3 years the BMW 5 Series wil be abailable in a maroon color!!!!! More

This is the second 1 Series we purchased from J. Garcia in the past 4 months. He is truly a great salesman with excellent knowledge of the vehicles. he listened to our needs and made both deals happen ver in the past 4 months. In all we have purchased a total of 5 vehicles from Chapman. The first was a new 2002 325I, the second was used 2003 M3 smg convertible, then a used Porsche 911 Turbo, and now the two new 1-series (my 2011 Blk on Blk 135I, ans now the wifes red 128I. I guess u can say we are truly loyal chapman customers. So now in our garage we have the two new 1-series and of course we recently gave our 16 year old daughter' my wifes X5. So thx again. P.S. The only thing I wish we were able to add was to have been able to have the wife's car be a convertible in stead of a hardtop. Then everything would be perfect. Also don't know what u can do, but I have the original M-spoke wheels that were removed from my 135 in the garage without tires. Would like to be able to trade the brand new tires and wheels from the new 128, for just tires for the 18 inch m wheels. we want to put these on wife's car. Basically trade a set of new 17inch wheels and tires for just a set of 18 inch tires for the set of m wheels I have that were taken off the 135I. More
The dealership worked closely with my husband a nd myself, and got a lot accomplished in less than one day. The price on the car was negotiated in an open way. We had leased this 3-series for the past three years and were very content to purchase it and continue to enjoy it for years to come.
