My car only has 21,000 miles on it and has always been garage kept in Florida. At the scheduled 20k service I was told that the drain plugs were clogged and that to clean them would cost an additional $75 garage kept in Florida. At the scheduled 20k service I was told that the drain plugs were clogged and that to clean them would cost an additional $750 during an otherwise fully pre-paid service call. Why would the drain plugs be clogged? I have never owned a car in 50 years where this has happened and I lived most of my life in New Jersey where I kept cars outside in the elements and there are many more leafy trees. I also checked that others charge $150 for this service up north where it occurs more often than here in Florida. If the drain plugs were indeed clogged (which is quesionable) then this service should have been provided free of charge with my pre-paid maintenance. I am sorry to see that a premium priced product like Porsche has to resort to cheap schemes like this to pay for otherwise poorly designed products. More
