Towed to Protect Warranty I started having problems with my electrical system enroute home from West Virginia to Myrtle Beach. My home dealership wouldn't honor my warranty if I started having problems with my electrical system enroute home from West Virginia to Myrtle Beach. My home dealership wouldn't honor my warranty if I went over 50,000 miles, which was quickly approaching. Champion Ford - Lincoln arrange a towing service to their dealership. I was naturally upset, tired, and very worried. It was extremely hot that day, they allowed me to stay inside the waiting room with my two dogs until my husband could pick me up from Myrtle Beach - 2 hours away. It did take a few days to fit my car into their schedule. And turned out to only need a new battery. When I returned, the car was ready, and all of the different electrical components were working again. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful from the beginning to the end. I had completely lost faith in my Beach Ford dealership in Myrtle Beach. They gave me the run-around, wouldn't answer our call when we ask to speak to the manager. And wouldn't do anything to help or even offer an alternative. As much as I love my MKC, and was going to trade it in for a new one, I vowed to never get another Lincoln. Champion Ford has restored my faith in Lincoln's customer service. If I do trade in my car to get a new Lincoln, it will solely be due to them. Their general manager, Charles Morgan, parts manager Sherry Winston, and the rest of their staff, we're helpful and understanding. More
