A car dealership that makes you feel good! It's been a rough couple of years for my 75 year old husband and myself. Illness, job loss, foreclosure worries.. . .so needless to say, we are not ex It's been a rough couple of years for my 75 year old husband and myself. Illness, job loss, foreclosure worries.. . .so needless to say, we are not exactly rolling in the dough! We've climbed our way out of the hole lately, but our credit is still suffering and our resources are spread very thin. We've been driving a 15 year old car with no air or heat and quite a bit of duct tape strategically attached. We were desperate for better transportation. A friend recommended Helen from Champion Chevrolet in Howell and I immediately pooh-poohed the idea. I have dealt with many dealerships and salespeople and I've always left feeling taken advantage of. I have spent weeks at a time sending financial information to salespeople only to be told that there was nothing they could do for me. I was shell-shocked from so many previous unpleasant attempts at finding someone to work with me on financing and down payment to get me in a car - any car that didn't require a screwdriver to shift gears! I didn't want to get rejected again. Helen and Champion Chevy changed all that. I can no longer stereotype used car salesmen and women because I found incredibly nice and hardworking people there, determined to help me get a vehicle that would safely get my husband back and forth to his Doctor appointments. And - incredibly - in spite of all odds - that's EXACTLY what they did! I never once felt intimidated by Helen or any of the other salespeople and the finance guy was as sweet as the rest of the staff! We never had a single anxious moment or felt we were getting played or lied to. We felt honestly welcomed from everyone and walked away with a beautiful, slightly-used car that we can actually afford at that Helen was able to get financed! I felt like a guest in this dealership - sincerely and warmly welcomed and respected. I will never purchase/lease or even LOOK at another car that doesn't come from Helen and Champion Chevrolet. You'd have to be crazy to do so. Big thanks to EVERYONE at Champion. You've changed our lives with your kindness. More

False Promises Was told they would hold a vehicle I was looking at while I was on vacation. Typical lying sales man will promise but never deliver. More
