I was very happy with my visit too dugan chevy. When I got there and walked in the door i was greeted by Scott Lawless. I told him up front that i wanted too sit down. He said that thats the way he likes too do businees up front with his customers.Ive heard that line before wasnt the first new car i had bought. But after talking with Scott he meant what he said. Scott was honest with me from the start. He treated you like a person not a sale. He joked with you had a normal coversation made you feel relaxed. He worked with me and my trade which wasnt easy i owed more than it was worth. I had tried a few other dealerships and they were a waste of time. I had never been too dugan before but i wiil go back again. Once we got too and agreement. Scott had rusty come out and talk with me. He explained everything and was very helpful. .I would recommend dugan too anyone...thank you..Larry . More
Watch the labor rate! When the average cost to employ a nurse is under $50/hr. why should a dealership charge $100/hr. for their service (not including the shop fees and "Other Parts")? BLOATED profit margins and the need to make up the operating losses on the sales side. You're far better off finding a garage that does't have to charge you for losses in other areas of it's business. They're friendly and do quality work, but they're going to overcharge you in the name of "Everybody is doing it" or "It's the going rate"! More

Friendliness was good, no push to buy today at first. After test drive it was time to talk price. This may or may not have been true and made me feel like he was pressuring us to buy. I asked if we could change a few optional itams and was told this was the way the car was ordered by the owner and they could not change them. Asked for one additional optional item and was told they would put it on free (was under $50). Ageed to pay the price asked for and would return to the showroom later that day. When we returned the salesman was with another customer but got to us as soon as possible. Paper work was taken care of, deposit was made and we agreed to come back later to sign the finance forms. When we returned, we were told the optional item will be in addition to the price agreed for the vehicle. This amount was not a great deal but shows me either they don't remember what they tell customers or are trying to get every penny they can from them. The finance officer goes through many items that will cost you more and tries to make you feel like they are needed. I would recommend this dealer based on price alone. More

I visited around 5 other dealerships in the Indianapolis/Avon area and this was by far the best of them all. I was greeted within a few minutes of looking around on the lot by my sales rep, Ton Indianapolis/Avon area and this was by far the best of them all. I was greeted within a few minutes of looking around on the lot by my sales rep, Tony. He made me feel like he was wanting to help me get into a car that I wanted and not forced me into something based off the price I was going spend. Tony answered all my questions that I had and would, and will, be recommending him to friends and family. I test drove the car that I wanted and we finally came to a deal that benefited my self and the dealership. I was over all very happy with the whole experience and would highly recommend anyone to at least stop in and see what they have to offer you. Great service, clean and updated showroom and very friendly! Will be back for my next vehicle! More
As a single female, purchasing a car alone can be a daunting and intimidating task. After my car fizzled out on me I knew I was either going to have to make expensive repairs to a car that was paid of daunting and intimidating task. I'm a teacher so you know I don't know much of a salary which really limits what I can afford to pay for a new car. I decided to at least look at some potential new cars. I headed to Dugan Chevrolet as it is one of the closest car dealerships to my home and my parents had just purchased a truck from the dealership. They seemed to have had a positive experience so I followed their lead. Mr. Jim Crosley was my sales consultant - he was also my parents as well. He took time to explain about the car I was standing beside when he walked up. He then asked about my price range and didn't balk when I told him even though it was a very small window. Without a second thought he knew what cars would fall into my range and shared the information with me. He found a very nice car that was bound to sell quickly. We took a test drive around the lot and he explained the features to me. It wasn't necessarily my first choice of cars, but after driving it I really fell in love with it. We headed to his desk, jotted down some info, and he was off to see if he could make it happen. I know my credit isn't great and I knew my payment window was small; I wasn't expecting a positive answer. While waiting Jim was very personable and we had a very nice conversation - we have some common acquaintances. He did a wonderful job of making me feel comfortable. When the details were all worked out the payments were perfect. I was shocked! He reminded me that we all deserve a break now and then and he was glad he could give me one. When it came to signing paperwork I worked with Jennifer Lee. Again, I was treated very well. Jennifer is also personable, well organized, and comfortable to talk to. As sometimes happen there was a mistake in the paperwork that was discovered after I had already returned home. Jennifer gave me a call to see if I could come back in for a few quick signatures. She apologized profusely for her error - I was fine with it because it actually lowered my payments. Working with these two people was the most comfortable I've ever been with any purchase I have made. I always worry that as a single female I will be taken advantage of when it comes to purchases such as this. Never during the experience did I feel pressured or uncomfortable. I know that if I'd had to turn down the offer they would have continued to treat me with the utmost respect. I will recommend others visit Dugan Chevrolet. Wonderful experience! More
